Friday started the weekend fresh with 15 MLB series getting underway (though Yankees-Cardinals game was postponed) and underdogs went 9-5 to improve to 16-10 the last 2 days.

MLB: Underdogs went 9-5 on Friday (16-10 the last 2 days) with biggest upsets by Nationals (+168 in 2-1 win at Phillies), A’s (+150 in 7-4 win vs. White Sox), Astros (+150 in 5-3 win at Rangers) and Diamondbacks (+140 in 6-2 win at Angels). Road teams led 8-6. Overs went 9-4-1 with the push in SF-NYM (9).

More MLB: on the season, favorites lead 701-508 with 20 games closing pick-’em; home teams’ lead continues to drop to 638-587 w/ 4 neutral-site games; Unders’ lead is also down to just 592-586-50 w/ 1 no-action.

USFL (ICYMI): Favorites/Overs are 2-0 so far in the playoffs. Including the regular season, underdogs still lead 22-20 SU overall and 27-15 ATS (64.3%). Unders still hold slim lead at 22-19-1 (53.7%).
