Admittedly, I am a sports bettor stricken with FOMO (fear of missing out) when it comes to the data I rely on to handicap games. That is one of the main reasons I am such a huge fan of the still relatively new Analytics Reports we’ve introduced on VSiN this past year. I feel like I am not leaving as many stones unturned anymore.

Well, this past Sunday, as I watched the Bucks and Kings go Over the total for the 22nd straight time in their head-to-head series, I was grateful because I had seen that nugget in the morning’s NBA release. Unfortunately, it also got me thinking as to whether or not I am forgetting this key head-to-head trend info in college hoops, particularly now that we are into conference season.

By the way, if you missed that NBA Sacramento-Milwaukee total opportunity on Sunday, you will get another chance when the teams match up again in Sacramento on March 12th.

Although none of the trends I have found are as definitive as the 22-0 total angle I just mentioned, I thought it would be good to share some of the top head-to-head angles available for the rest of the college regular season so that bettors can take advantage of them when they arise.

Logically, every team in every league has opponents that, for one reason or another, they match up better or worse against. It can be because of strength, size, location, or simply good old-fashioned luck either way, but for bettors, not considering this aspect in handicapping games is leaving a huge void. It seems particularly important in college basketball, as some head-to-head trends that have formed over recent years uncover what has turned into an extremely lopsided series. This can be due to talent differences, crowd sizes, and rivalry intensity, among other things.

Below, you will find 30 top college basketball head-to-head series between conference foes that have been particularly one-sided of late. I have also gone ahead and listed the next matchup between the teams in 2024 so you can mark your calendars accordingly. They are listed in order of date of next wagering opportunity.
