Illinois State vs. Cornell

12:00 PM Eastern

Illinois State entered Saturday ranked fifth in the country in 3-point shooting percentage away from home at 41.9%, while Cornell is 295th in points per possession allowed at home and 331st in defensive rebounding percentage, allowing opponents to rebound 35.3% of their missed shots.

Pick: Illinois State +7 (Greg’s Handicap: Illinois State +2.5)

Illinois vs. Missouri

Illinois ranks 361st out of 364 Division I teams in turnovers created on a per-possession basis away from home, while Missouri ranks eighth in turnovers per possession and should exploit an Illinois defense that allows 27.3 more points per 100 possessions away from home than at home.

Iowa State vs. Morgan State

Iowa State’s defense remains one of the strongest in the country, allowing the third-fewest points per possession at home. They rank 12th in turnovers forced per possession and face a Morgan State team that may be without their top scorer, Wynston Tabbs, who missed their last game against Campbell.

Pick: Iowa State vs. Morgan State Under 160.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 153)

Radford vs. South Carolina

2:00 PM Eastern

Radford aims to slow the pace, ranking 282nd in possessions per game. South Carolina allows opponents to make only 31.4% of their 3-point attempts, while Radford ranks 254th nationally in 2-point shooting percentage entering Saturday.

Pick: Radford vs. South Carolina Under 140 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 133.5)

West Virginia vs. Mercyhurst

West Virginia’s second-leading scorer, Tucker DeVries, is dealing with an injury. The team ranks 88th nationally in points per possession but falls outside the top 175 in rebound percentage. Mercyhurst, in their first year at the Division I level, has a defense that is challenging to prepare for, ranking 64th in turnovers forced per possession entering Saturday.

Pick: Mercyhurst +32.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Mercyhurst +27)

Rider vs. NC State

4:00 PM Eastern

NC State entered Saturday ranked 274th in the country in home 3-point shooting percentage at 30.6%. They face a Rider team that ranks in the top 40 in the percentage of opponent points coming from made 3-point shots (36.8%). Offensively, Rider is 45th in the country in offensive rebounding percentage, converting a high percentage of missed shots into second-chance opportunities.

Pick: Rider +21.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Rider +16.5)

Wyoming vs. CS Fullerton

4:00 PM Eastern

CS Fullerton has yet to find a primary facilitator on offense, with no player averaging at least two assists per game. As a result, the team ranks outside the top 275 in points scored and allowed on a per-possession basis. Wyoming enters the game with a significant edge on the boards, ranking 28th in rebound percentage, while CS Fullerton is 311th in this category.

Pick: Wyoming -3.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Wyoming -8.5)

Loyola Chicago vs. Oakland

Oakland ranks 312th in points scored per possession and 309th in points allowed per possession. Their 3-point shooting percentage (28.7%) is ranked 328th nationally. Loyola Chicago, on the other hand, is 27th in points allowed per possession and leads the nation in defensive rebound percentage in road and neutral-court games, limiting opponents to just 14.5% offensive rebounds on missed shots.

Pick: Loyola Chicago -6 (Greg’s Handicap: Loyola Chicago -14.5)

Georgetown vs. Seton Hall

Both defenses are stout, with Seton Hall ranked 54th and Georgetown 21st in the country in points allowed per possession. Georgetown shoots just 28.8% from 3-point range, while Seton Hall is ranked 322nd in points per possession at home and plays at one of the slowest paces in the country, ranking 360th in possessions per game.

Pick: Georgetown vs. Seton Hall Under 132 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 125.5)

Charlotte vs. Hawaii

11:30 PM Eastern

Hawaii ranks fifth in defensive rebound percentage nationally, preventing opponents from generating second-chance scoring opportunities. The team plays at a slow pace, ranking 242nd in possessions per game, while Charlotte is even slower at 334th. Hawaii also struggles with 3-point shooting at home, making just 29.8% of their attempts.
