Nebraska vs. Maryland

Both teams have been strong on defense this season. Maryland ranks sixth in the country in points allowed on a per-possession basis, while Nebraska is 69th in this category. Nebraska also ranks 78th in turnovers forced per possession, while Maryland is 21st. Both teams are in the top 92 in defensive rebound percentage.

Rice is clearly the better defensive team, ranking 55th prior to Saturday in points allowed per possession away from home. Florida Atlantic ranks 328th in points allowed per possession at home, with only Eastern Michigan allowing a higher home opponent three-point shooting percentage than Florida Atlantic’s 46.6%.

UW Green Bay vs. Youngstown State

UW Green Bay ranks 352nd in opponent three-point shooting percentage, 346th in points allowed per possession, and 325th in points per possession at home on offense. Meanwhile, Youngstown State is 19th in points allowed per possession on defense.

Cleveland State ranks 298th in defensive rebound percentage, allowing opponents to grab 31.2% of their missed shots as offensive rebounds. IU Indianapolis ranks 88th in three-point shooting percentage at 35.3%, compared to Cleveland State’s 195th ranking. Additionally, Cleveland State is 336th in turnovers per possession.

Entering Saturday, they rank 85th in points per possession at home, while Robert Morris is 222nd in points per possession overall.
