In my continuing series offering the most extensive bowl game betting materials anywhere, I next look at the trends that have formed on teams in their recent bowl game action. For some teams, playing in a bowl game is an annual occurrence, for others, not so much. With data from the last 30 bowl seasons, I am able to derive a variety of significant performance trends that have developed in teams in these games. The angles I am sharing include best and worst bowl teams of recent years, most definitive totals patterns that have emerged and which teams’ recent bowl games have been dominated lately by favorites or underdogs. Use these tidbits to fit to the various matchups available for the 2022-23 bowl season.
