ATS Report for Tuesday, July 18, on MLB, plus updated season-long betting stats

Tuesday Betting Recaps

Tuesday was another relatively quiet day in the sportsbooks, especially here in Las Vegas with the Summer League leaving town.

We did have a full 15-game MLB slate, plus the Giants and Reds completing their suspended game from Monday.
Let’s get to the full nightly recaps that we post on Twitter @ViewFromVegas, then update the season-long betting stats.

MLB: Faves/dogs split 7-7 Tuesday with Yankees-Angels closing pick-’em. The biggest were upsets by the Rockies (+185 in 4-3 win vs. Astros), Diamondbacks (+162 in 16-13 slugfest at Braves), A’s (+160 in 3-0 win vs. Red Sox) and Royals (+150 in 11-10 win vs. Tigers. Home teams led 9-6. Overs also went 9-6.

More MLB: On the season, faves still lead 813-578 with 24 games closing pick-’em. Home teams lead 731-680 with 4 neutral-site games, though road teams have been cutting into lead lately. Unders’ lead has been cut back down to 678-677-59 with 1 no-action.
