Sunday was a mixed bag of sports betting results to wrap up the weekend.
In the NBA, the Boston Celtics covered as favorites in their Game 7 win vs. the Philadelphia 76ers while the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights pulled another upset to eliminate the Edmonton Oilers as dogs kept barking in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Dogs completed a 4-0 sweep in the USFL over the weekend (in addition to the Arlington Renegades’ upset over the DC Defenders in the XFL Championship Game on Saturday) while favorites went 12-3 in MLB.

NBA: Celtics pulled away in the 3rd quarter to cover as 6-point home favorites in their 112-88 win vs. the 76ers to win their Eastern Conference semifinal series 4-3 (stayed Under the low total of 202 points). Home/fave/Under went 1-0 Sunday, but the "zig-zag" (aka "loser of the last") was 0-1 ATS as the 76ers failed to cover after coming off their Game 6 loss.

NHL: Golden Knights upset Oilers 5-2 late Sunday as +160 road underdogs to clinch their Western Conference semifinal series 4-2 (game went Over betting total of 6.5 goals on empty-net goal with :39 left). The "zig-zag" (aka "loser of the last") went 0-1 as the Oilers also lost Game 5.
More NHL: Dogs improved to 12-10 lead in the second round. Home teams dipped to 12-10 while Overs improved to 12-9-1. Overall in the playoffs, dogs improved to 38-32 with 2 pick-’ems. MLB: Faves dominated 12-3 on Sunday with the only upsets by the Tigers (+164 vs. Mariners), Rockies (+145 vs. Phillies) and Diamondbacks (+122 vs. Giants). Home teams went 9-6. USFL: Memphis (+7.5) upset previously undefeated New Orleans 17-10 on Sunday to wrap up Week 5 as underdogs went 4-0 SU & ATS (game stayed Under 43.5). Earlier, Philadelphia (+7) upset New Jersey 24-21 (went Over 43.5). On the season, dogs lead 12-8 SU & 15-5 ATS (75%). Over/Unders remain .500 at 10-10 after splitting 2-2 again.
