The 2023 NFL season ended with the Kansas City Chiefs beating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, but it’s always football season at VSiN. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be diving deep on the 2024 NFL Draft. It’s a fascinating draft class and there’s a lot of uncertainty surrounding the teams picking early. That should make for some fun discourse. However, we actually don’t have to wait very long to get some action on the draft. DraftKings Sportsbook posted some odds for the NFL Scouting Combine, which starts on Thursday, February 29th at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. You can take a look at some of them below.

Quick Analysis
I likely won’t be playing any of these markets myself, but the two that are most interesting to me are the record 40 time and the most bench press reps.
John Ross’ 4.22 seconds will be extremely tough to beat, but Michigan’s Roman Wilson ran a 4.37 in high school. One would think that time spent in the Wolverines program would only improve that number. And there are a few players in this class that look faster than Wilson on tape. Many consider Texas Tech’s Tyler Owens to be the fastest player, and there are several other burners in the class. So, it might be fun to play the “Yes” on this market and just hope for the best.
As for the bench press, I think there’s a decent shot that the Over hits. You have to pay an ugly price to take the Under here, but I’m not exactly sure why. Last year, Baltimore Ravens guard Andrew Vorhees put up 38 reps. That should light a little fire underneath some of the offensive linemen in this class, and there are a few guys with some serious strength in this group. There are also some with shorter arms, which gives them an advantage on the bench. Longer arms mean longer reps.
