The Los Angeles Chargers outlasted the Denver Broncos 19-16 in OT on Monday Night Football to wrap up NFL Week 6.
The game came down to a muffed punt by Denver to set up the game-winning 39-yard field goal by L.A.’s injured kicker, Dustin Hopkins.

The Chargers failed to cover as 4-point home favorites. They were never covering the spread as the Broncos jumped out to a 10-0, first-quarter lead. Hopkins said he “heard” a pop” when kicking the extra point after the Chargers’ first touchdown when he cut the deficit to 10-7.
There weren’t any more TDs the rest of the game as Hopkins went on to go 4-for-4 on FGs, including tying the game at 16-16 with 3:58 left in regulation and then the game-winner.
The FG-fest kept the game well Under the betting total of 45.5 points. Primetime Unders improved to 13-6 (68.4%) this season. Unders have been dominating overall and went 10-4 in Week 6 and are back above 60% at 56-37-1 (60.2%).
Favorites went 8-6 SU in Week 6, but split 7-7 ATS as the Broncos were the only dog to cover over the weekend without winning outright. On the season, faves lead 54-37-1 SU with 2 pick-’ems (Commanders-Lions in Week 2 and Titans-Commanders in Week 5), but dogs lead 52-37-3 ATS (58.4%).
Home teams went 8-6 SU in Week 6, but split 7-7 ATS as home-field advantage continues to be negligible. On the season, home teams lead just 49-42-1 SU with 2 neutral-site games in London, while road teams lead 47-42-3 ATS (52.8%).
