NFL Lookahead Lines:

I pointed out last week that the Baltimore/Cincinnati total for Week 10 was short at 50. The Ravens improved to 8-1 over the total and the Bengals beat the Raiders 41-24. The total for their divisional tilt on Thursday night is between 53 and 53.5 as of this post. Here’s to starting Week 10 off in winning fashion.

The following are current Week 11 NFL numbers posted at DraftKings:

Week 11 Sunday Night Football

Week 11 Monday Night Football

I have several reasons to be concerned about the Bears. Horrendous coaching combined with players walking off of the field during live play will do that to a person. The Packers will be coming off of their bye week and getting players healthy. Matt LaFleur facing Matt Eberflus is a total coaching mismatch. Green Bay below a field goal is worth a bet.

I like Pittsburgh this week at Washington. The Steelers have won seven straight games off of their bye week. Philadelphia is facing a bad Cowboys team that now has Cooper Rush at QB. If Mike Tomlin makes it eight straight wins off the bye, and Philly is impressive against Dallas, the Eagles -3 will turn into a bigger number than that when they host the Commanders on Thursday night.

Here is a hold your nose underdog for next week: the Las Vegas Raiders. The team is dreadful and is sitting at 2-7. However, they recently fired numerous offensive coaches and will be coming off the bye week. This puts the Dolphins in a problematic scheduling disadvantage. Miami suffered a brutal loss in Buffalo during Week 9, travels across the country to play the Rams in Los Angeles on Monday night, and heads back home to face a team off their bye that fired coaches after their most recent loss. Sign me up for Antonio Pierce covering a big number on the road.

Lastly, a path exists where the Sunday night game between the Chargers and Bengals could move. Cincinnati is a touchdown underdog at Baltimore this week. Justin Herbert and company host a Titans team that is 1-7 against the spread. LA is also favored by more than a TD. A win and cover coupled with the Ravens beating Cincinnati could make the Bolts closer to a field goal favorite than -1.5.
