Super Bowl Prop Challenge

One of my favorite parts of this weekend is the Super Bowl Prop Challenge! I enjoy running them at any party I attend, and it’s a fun way to get everyone involved without trying to sell 100 squares!

I’ve put together a prop sheet you can download for your party with 15 different props that are easy to select and grade. When the game ends for those who want an answer key, I’ll post the final correct selections on my X account (@somobomb18).

Let’s look at the 15 different props, what I am selecting, and a few that I have already bet!

How many seconds will it take Reba McEntire to sing the National Anthem?
I’ll go under 129.5 seconds. While it would be a record shortest time, Reba has been quick in past anthems, including one under 100 seconds.

Will the coin toss be Heads or Tails?
Heads, always heads.

Who will win the game?
I’ve been on the Chiefs bandwagon for months, so there is no reason to jump off now with advantages at quarterback, offensive line, defense, and coaching.

How many total points will be scored in the game?
Under 47.5 for me here. I played under 48 when the game opened, and I would still look to the under here. I would wait and see if 48 shows up again as there should be Over money that comes in today and tomorrow.

What will be the jersey number of the player to score first?
Not one that I have bet, but I will take the Over 22.5 here. You get McCaffrey and a lot of sneaky Chiefs tight ends, as well as the logical one, Kelce.

How many field goals will be made in the game?
Here is a prop that I have bet. Let’s go Over 3.5 made field goals. I played Butker Over 1.5 made field goals as well. Kansas City is willing to kick longer field goals, especially in perfect kicking conditions, and Shanahan is happy to take the points.

Will either quarterback throw for 275 Yards or more?
I bet the “no” here as well. I expect both teams to run the football and have some success, but that will limit the opportunities through the air for both quarterbacks.

Will either team miss a field goal or an extra point?
Nope.

Who will have more receiving yards, Kelce or Rice?
Rice. The 49ers should key on Kelce and have issues at cornerback. I like Rice to lead the game in receiving yards at +320.

Who will have more receiving yards, Samuel or Aiyuk?
Samuel. He should be a key to Shanahan’s game plan and will be moved around so he won’t have to match up against Willie Snead most of the game.

Which quarterback will have a longer first completion?
Purdy. The Chiefs have scripted quick, short throws early in each playoff game. I would expect the same here, giving Purdy the advantage.

Which will be the highest-scoring half?
The first half. I played the highest scoring quarter to be the second quarter at +165. The Chiefs have shut teams down in the second half and fourth quarter specifically.

Will the final total points be odd or even?
Let’s go with odd because why not?

Will there be a roughing the passer penalty?
I’ll go with “yes” here because I expect both teams to generate consistent pressure.

Will points be scored in the final two minutes of both halves?
No. I expect them in the first half, but the fourth quarter could be tough.

Good luck with all of your props on Super Bowl Sunday!
