    YRFI Guide

YRFI stands for Yes Run First Inning — a popular MLB prop bet where you wager on whether at least one run will be scored in the first inning of a game.

This table helps bettors make smarter YRFI decisions by presenting probabilistic trends for each team and matchup. The data is pulled from historical and situational stats to show how often teams score (or allow) a run in the first inning.

    Table Columns Explained:

    • Game: The matchup, listed as Away @ Home.

    • YRFI Game %: The overall chance that either team scores in the first inning.

    • Away / Home: Team abbreviations.

    • YRFI Away: The projected percentage chance that the away team scores in the 1st inning.

    • YRFI Home: The projected percentage chance that the home team scores in the 1st inning.

How to Use the YRFI Table for Betting

    1. Start with “YRFI Game %”
      • Use this column to quickly identify the matchups with the highest probability of a first-inning run.
      • Example: A game showing 56.5% indicates more than half the time, a run is scored in the 1st inning.
    2. Dig Deeper with Away/Home Breakdown
      • Check the YRFI Away and YRFI Home percentages to pinpoint which team is more likely to contribute the run.
      • If a team like ATH (36.6%) has a strong home trend, that may add confidence to a YRFI bet, especially against a weak starting pitcher.
    3. Compare Matchups
      • Find situations where both teams have high YRFI trends. These are ideal YRFI opportunities.
      • Example: If HOU is at 30.6% and ATH is at 36.6%, the combined game % of 56.5% shows promise.
    4. Look for Edge Cases
      • You can also identify potential NRFI (No Run First Inning) opportunities when all percentages are low (e.g., both under 20%).
    5. Use the Search Box
      • Use the search bar to filter by a specific team or matchup. Great for checking today’s games quickly.
