When does Anthony Richardson debut during Colts 2023 schedule?

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay swore that Anthony Richardson was the No. 1 quarterback on their board, regardless of where Bryce Young and CJ Stroud were taken. Now we wait and see when Richardson makes his NFL debut, as the rebuilding Colts take on a pretty manageable schedule for the 2023 season. Indianapolis still has a long way to go to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2020, but things shouldn’t be as bad as having Jeff Saturday go from the high school sidelines to the NFL sidelines this season.

Indianapolis Colts schedule this year

The Colts play 14 of their 17 games against the AFC South, NFC South, and AFC North, so they draw a pretty decent slate of opponents comparatively speaking with other divisions. Their third-place schedule features the Patriots on the road and the Raiders and Rams at home. Avoiding two road trips across three time zones could prove to be a feather in this team’s cap, especially since the depth is lacking a bit. In fact, the Colts don’t go any further west than Houston and log very few air miles.

Not all game times have been posted yet, but aside from the game in Germany and the Week 9 game against the Panthers, every game with a scheduled time is at 1 p.m. ET for the Colts.
