Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400
There should be a lot of happy and re-energized drivers this week for the Autotrade EchoPark Automotive 400. The race name is a mouthful, but that’s a small price to pay for being back on an oval track. This is the one and only stop at Dover, as the track hosted two races a year up until 2020, but now only hosts one.
This is the 21st race of 26 scheduled for the regular season and there are 36 total races on the books, including the Cup Championship Playoffs.

2025 NASCAR Cup Series Standings
As many people expected, Shane van Gisbergen won the Toyota/Save Mart 350 last week at Sonoma Raceway. That was actually his third win of the season and he only has one other top-10 finish to his name. His other wins came at Mexico City and on the Chicago Street Course. Hence the reason why a lot of drivers are excited this week.
Even though Chase Elliott finished third and William Byron finished eighth, Byron was able to add ever so slightly to his points lead, which went up from 13 to 14. Kyle Larson is 30 points behind Elliott after finishing 35th and outside the top five for the fifth straight race. Tyler Reddick and Denny Hamlin round out the top five. The rest of the top 10 features Christopher Bell, Ryan Blaney, Chase Briscoe, Ross Chastain, and Chris Buescher.
The race winners so far are Byron, Larson (3), Bell (3), Hamlin (3), van Gisbergen (3), Blaney, Chastain, Joey Logano, Austin Cindric, Josh Berry, Briscoe, and Elliott through 18 points races with 16 playoff spots in total up for grabs and 12 taken by race winners as of now. That means some winners may not make it, if they don’t have enough points relative to other race winners. van Gisbergen sits 26th in points despite three wins over the last five races.
Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 Winners
Among active drivers, Hamlin and Elliott have two wins apiece over the last 10 Dover races. Hamlin is the reigning champ of this race and he also won back in 2020. Elliott won this race in 2022 and the fall race in 2018 as one of his earliest triumphs. Elliott also has six top-five finishes here in the last 10 races, so should be a factor, along with Hamlin and Bowman, who have five top-five finishes in that span. Bowman also has a win, as does Larson.
