2025 NASCAR Cup Series Standings

As of now, Tyler Reddick and Alex Bowman are in line to be the “wild cards” of the playoff picture. The 14 race winners are all safely in the playoff field. We’ll see if another race winner is able to jump in there or if those two will get the opportunity by virtue of having the most points of non-winners.

Once the playoffs start, the standings are irrelevant, as then the Playoff Points are the most valuable things, giving those drivers a head start in each round.

The race winners so far are Byron (2), Larson (3), Bell (3), Hamlin (4), van Gisbergen (4), Blaney, Chastain, Joey Logano, Austin Cindric, Josh Berry, Briscoe, Elliott, Wallace, and Dillon through 25 points races with 16 playoff spots in total.

Coke Zero Sugar 400 Winners

Daytona is a twice-a-year stop for the Cup Series drivers, with the Daytona 500 to kick off the new season and the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Harrison Burton is actually the reigning winner in this race, with Buescher, Dillon, Blaney, and Byron among the last five victors.

Byron has won the last two Daytona 500s. Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Cindric, and Michael McDowell are the other winners in the last five. As we know with the big track and the style of racing, it can be a very wide-open event.
