Cracker Barrel 400:
Let’s all grab some hash brown casserole and biscuits to enjoy Sunday night’s Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. This is the third consecutive night race for the Cup Series and the one stop in the Music City area, as the track is technically in the nearby town of Lebanon.
Data points are not in high supply here, as the NASCAR Cup Series just started racing here in 2021 after a series of problems and different owners at the track. The Xfinity (then Nationwide) Series and the Truck Series ran here from 2001-11, but the Cup Series debuted here in 2021.

2025 NASCAR Cup Series Standings
Another driver clinched a playoff spot last weekend at Charlotte, as Ross Chastain was the surprise winner of the Coca-Cola 600. Even though William Byron leapfrogged Kyle Larson to get back in first place in the points chase by leading the most laps and winning Stages 1, 2, and 3, it was Chastain who beat out Byron at the finish line on the final lap.
With Byron’s huge showing, he’s back to a 29-point lead over Larson with 499 points. Larson finished 37th for the second time this season, leading to the fall to second place. Christopher Bell (425), Chase Elliott (415), and Tyler Reddick (392) round out the top five.
Denny Hamlin (390), Ryan Blaney (363), Chastain (350), Joey Logano (338) and Alex Bowman (333) round out the top 10.
The race winners so far are Byron, Larson (3), Bell (3), Hamlin (2), Chastain, Logano, Austin Cindric, and Josh Berry through 13 points races with 16 playoff spots in total up for grabs and eight taken by race winners as of now.
Cracker Barrel 400 Winners
Four installments of this race, four different race winners. Elliott, Larson, Logano, and Chastain have won here on the 1.33-mile tri-oval. Larson has led 264 laps and Chastain has led 148. Martin Truex Jr. has actually led 132 laps in this race, but only has one top-five and one top-10 finish to show for it.
Chastain actually has three top-five finishes here and so does Larson, while Elliott has two. Of drivers with more than one Nashville start, Larson’s average finish of 4.5 is tops, followed by Logano at 9.8.
