Texas entered Wednesday ranked 20th in points scored on a per possession basis and faces a New Mexico State team that is 218th in points allowed on a per possession basis. While Virginia ranked just 239th in points per possession entering Wednesday, they were 23rd in 3-point shooting percentage, while Bethune Cookman is 250th in opponents’ 3-point shooting percentage, allowing teams to make 35% of their 3-point attempts.
