Omaha vs. Iowa State

Omaha has been looking to slow down games, ranking 258th in possessions per game. They face an Iowa State unit that ranks eighth in the country in fewest points per possession allowed and should stifle an Omaha team that is 250th in points per possession and 191st in percent of possessions that end in a turnover.

Illinois Chicago vs. Little Rock

Illinois Chicago entered Saturday ranked 264th in the country in points allowed per possession while ranking 98th in points scored per possession. They also rank 34th in possessions per game. Meanwhile, Little Rock is ranked 106th in possessions per game.

Presbyterian vs. Miami

Presbyterian, while ranked 284th in total possessions per game, plays at a rate of 4.5 possessions per game faster in road games compared to home games.

New Orleans vs. Iowa

Both teams love to play fast, with Iowa ranked 22nd in the country in possessions per game and New Orleans ranked 56th. This fast pace is paired with a defense that ranks 275th in points allowed per possession.

Saint Louis vs. Illinois State

Illinois State has been one of the most improved 3-point shooting teams in the country, making 38.3% of their 3-point shots this year after shooting just 28.8% from the outside last season. Denver vs. CS Fullerton

The lack of a floor general has led to a rough start to the season for CS Fullerton, with no player on the team averaging more than 1.5 assists per game. This has resulted in the team ranking outside the top 285 in both points scored and points allowed per possession. Denver holds a slight edge on the glass, facing a Fullerton team ranked 326th in rebound percentage.

Arkansas State vs. UAB

Arkansas State has climbed to 66th nationally in points allowed per possession. Meanwhile, UAB’s offense has struggled to score outside of the painted area, ranking 272nd in 3-point shooting percentage and making only 27.5% of their 3-point shots at home. Arkansas State entered Saturday ranked 212th in points per possession.
