Yale vs. Rhode Island
7:00 PM ET
Both teams exceeded expectations in 3-point shooting last season, with Rhode Island at 34.9% and Yale at 35%. This season, however, both teams have shot over 39% from beyond the arc—though a drop-off is expected, especially for Yale. They’ll be up against a Rhode Island defense that ranks 13th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage this season.
Pick: Under 156.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 152)
UMBC vs. Georgetown
7:00 PM ET
UMBC has struggled defensively on the road, allowing 43.5% shooting from 3-point range and ranking 7th in points allowed per possession in away games. Meanwhile, Georgetown’s offense is showing improvement, ranking 76th in points per possession entering Sunday.
Pick: Over 155 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 159)
Southeast Louisiana vs. Tulane
7:30 PM ET
Southeast Louisiana has been plagued by turnovers (296th in turnovers per possession) and poor rebounding (292nd in rebounding percentage). Tulane, on the other hand, has been much more efficient at home, shooting 36% from 3-point range compared to just 26.7% on the road.
Pick: Tulane -7 (Greg’s Handicapped Line: -12.5)
Chicago State vs. St. Thomas
8:00 PM ET
Chicago State ranks 359th in points per possession, while St. Thomas focuses on slowing the pace, never ranking higher than 272nd in total possessions per game during their first three full Division I seasons.
Pick: Under 141 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 136.5)
Washington State vs. Nevada
10:00 PM ET
Washington State ranked 60th in points allowed per possession on the road heading into Sunday. While Nevada has been excellent from beyond the arc, shooting 46.6%, regression is likely given no team shot over 40.9% last season.
Pick: Washington State +11 (Greg’s Handicapped Line: +5.5)
