Dayton vs. La Salle

2:00 PM Eastern

Dayton is playing at one of the slower paces in the country, ranking 335th in possessions per game. The only two teams to exceed 70 points against them are North Carolina and Iowa State, while La Salle is allowing opponents to make just 30.9% of their 3-point attempts this season.

Massachusetts vs. St. Joseph’s

Massachusetts has struggled from 3-point range, making only 21.2% of their 3-point shots away from home this season. They rank 303rd in points per possession on the road entering Monday, while St. Joseph’s has been one of the most disciplined teams in the nation, ranking seventh in fewest fouls per possession committed.

VCU vs. St. Bonaventure

Both VCU and St. Bonaventure have been tremendous on defense this season, with VCU ranking ninth in points allowed on a per-possession basis and St. Bonaventure 13th. However, VCU is allowing 16.3 points more per 100 possessions in games played away from home than at home and is turning the ball over more frequently, ranking 163rd in turnovers per possession.

Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech

Since Markus Burton got injured in the Players Era Festival for Notre Dame, the team has allowed fewer than 70 points in all but one of the six games they’ve played without him. They now face a Georgia Tech defense that ranks 196th in points allowed per possession at home this season.

Norfolk State vs. Tennessee

Norfolk State is coming off a solid road win against High Point. They entered Monday ranked 127th in turnovers per possession on defense and 71st in points per possession on offense in games played away from home.

Stephen F. Austin vs. Abilene Christian

The defense of Stephen F. Austin has been stellar, ranking 43rd in points per possession allowed, while their offense is struggling, ranking 356th in points per possession and 363rd in turnovers per possession. Abilene Christian isn’t much better offensively, ranking 321st in turnovers per possession and 348th in points per possession at home.

Virginia Tech vs. Duke

Virginia Tech’s offense has struggled to take care of the ball, ranking 346th in turnovers per possession on the road and 333rd in points per possession in away games entering Monday. Meanwhile, Duke’s defense is ranked fifth in points allowed per possession and plays at a slow pace, ranking 276th in total possessions per game.

New Mexico vs. Fresno State

While Fresno State’s 29.9% 3-point shooting for the season has been rough, they have made 40.6% of their 3-point shots over the past three games. They face a New Mexico team that ranks 320th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage, while New Mexico’s 66.7% free throw shooting ranks 298th in the nation.

Southern Indiana vs. Morehead State

8:30 PM Eastern

Morehead State entered Monday ranked 296th in the country in both points scored and points allowed on a per-possession basis. They also rank 286th in turnovers per possession on offense. On the other hand, Southern Indiana has been much cleaner offensively, ranking 154th in turnovers per possession, and their 37% 3-point shooting ranks 58th in the country, compared to Morehead State’s 202nd ranking at 32.8%.
