Kent State vs. Bowling Green

Kent State leads the country in the fewest points per possession allowed in road and neutral court games while playing at a pace that ranks 258th in the country in total possessions per game. They are just 310th in points per possession away from home, with a 25.7% three-point shooting percentage, which ranks 360th.

Pick: Kent State vs. Bowling Green Under 140 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 134.5)

Central Michigan vs. Ohio

Ohio has its top scorer, AJ Clayton, back after he was injured in mid-January. Although Ohio ranks 357th in opponent three-point shooting percentage, Central Michigan is hitting only 30.2% of its three-point shots, which ranks 332nd in the nation. Central Michigan is also 238th in points per possession overall, while Ohio ranks 111th.

Pick: Ohio -5.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Ohio -9)

Oklahoma vs. Florida

Both teams have strong perimeter defense. Oklahoma allows opponents to make only 26.4% of their three-point shots away from home, ranking fourth in the nation. Florida allows opponents to shoot just 26% from three-point range at home and is third in the country in overall opponent three-point shooting percentage. Florida also ranks ninth in overall points per possession allowed.

Pick: Oklahoma vs. Florida Under 158.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 150.5)

Purdue vs. Michigan State

Purdue ranks 319th in the nation in possessions per game away from home and faces a Michigan State team that ranks 354th in three-point shooting percentage at 29.1%. However, Michigan State is 16th in defensive rebounding percentage at home, limiting teams to rebounding only 20.9% of their missed field goals, and ranks 22nd in points per possession allowed.

Pick: Purdue vs. Michigan State Under 148.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 143)

Central Arkansas vs. Queens NC

Central Arkansas ranks 353rd in the nation in points per possession allowed away from home, while Queens NC is 152nd in points per possession overall. Queens NC plays at an uptempo pace, ranking 19th in total possessions per game at home.

Pick: Central Arkansas vs. Queens NC Over 146 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 151.5)

8:30 PM Eastern

Illinois vs. Wisconsin

Wisconsin ranks 64th in the nation in points per possession allowed at home, allowing 14.9 fewer points per 100 possessions at home than on the road. Illinois ranks 309th in three-point shooting at 31.3% but prevents second-chance scoring opportunities on defense, ranking 11th in defensive rebounding percentage.

Pick: Illinois vs. Wisconsin Under 161.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 153.5)

9:00 PM Eastern

Houston vs. Arizona

Houston allows the fewest points per possession of any team in the country while ranking 356th in total possessions per game. Houston’s offense relies on its 39.1% three-point shooting, which ranks ninth in the country, but that percentage drops to 33.8% away from home. Arizona ranks 33rd in opponent three-point shooting percentage at 30.7%.

Pick: Houston vs. Arizona Under 134.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 130)

Kansas vs. BYU

Kansas ranks seventh in the country in points per possession allowed in games played away from home, but they are unlikely to get many second-chance scoring opportunities. BYU ranks 12th in defensive rebounding percentage, allowing offensive rebounds on only 22.6% of opponents’ missed shots. BYU also ranks 200th in possessions per game.

Pick: Kansas vs. BYU Under 148.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 144.5)

11:00 PM Eastern

Fresno State vs. San Diego State

San Diego State ranks eighth in the country in points per possession allowed and should get plenty of second-chance opportunities against a Fresno State team that ranks 335th in defensive rebounding percentage, allowing opponents to rebound 32.2% of their missed shots. Fresno State also ranks 330th in points per possession.

Pick: San Diego State -18 (Greg’s Handicap: San Diego State -22.5)
