7:00 PM Eastern

St. Joseph’s vs. George Washington

Both teams have solid overall defenses, with George Washington ranking 36th in the country in points per possession allowed and St. Joseph’s 37th. St. Joseph’s is also 37th in the percentage of missed shots that result in an offensive rebound, while George Washington ranks 329th in 3-point shooting on offense but 55th in turnovers forced per possession on defense at home.

Pick: St. Joseph’s vs. George Washington Under 142.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 134.5)

Temple vs. Charlotte

Charlotte ranks 324th in total possessions per game at home, with their 30.6% 3-point shooting ranking 326th. They allow opponents to make just 32.9% of their 3-point attempts, ranking 126th. Temple is dealing with an injury to 22-points-per-game scorer Jamal Mashburn Jr., who has missed two of the team’s last three games.

Pick: Temple vs. Charlotte Under 149.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 145)

Mercer vs. The Citadel

The Citadel ranks 340th in points per possession on offense and 346th in points per possession allowed on defense. Mercer also holds the edge on the boards, ranking 231st in rebound percentage, while The Citadel ranks 329th.

Pick: Mercer -7 (Greg’s Handicap: Mercer -12.5)

7:30 PM Eastern

Illinois-Chicago vs. Drake

Illinois-Chicago has improved its ball security, averaging just 10.3 turnovers per game in Missouri Valley Conference play, down from 15.1 per game in non-conference play. Drake ranks 12th in the nation in turnovers forced per possession, but their slow tempo (362nd in total possessions per game) makes it difficult to cover a large spread.

Pick: Illinois-Chicago +10.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Illinois-Chicago +7.5)

8:00 PM Eastern

St. Thomas vs. South Dakota

While South Dakota ranks fourth in the nation in total possessions per game, they struggle from deep, ranking 292nd in 3-point shooting percentage at 31.5%. St. Thomas averages 12.2 points per 100 possessions fewer when playing away from home.

Pick: St. Thomas vs. South Dakota Under 175.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 171.5)

9:00 PM Eastern

Gonzaga vs. Washington State

Gonzaga leads the country in points per possession on offense, but they score 12.4 points per 100 possessions fewer when playing away from home. Their 3-point shooting percentage drops from 38.2% at home to 31% on the road. Gonzaga also struggles to capitalize on Washington State’s biggest weakness—turnovers—since Gonzaga ranks just 183rd in turnovers forced per possession away from home.

Pick: Washington State +13.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Washington State +10.5)

Miami vs. Florida State

Miami ranks 357th in points per possession allowed on the road. Offensively, they must protect the ball against a Florida State defense that ranks 41st in turnovers forced per possession. Miami also struggles from beyond the arc, ranking 272nd in 3-point shooting percentage at 30.8%.

Pick: Florida State -7.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Florida State -13.5)

9:30 PM Eastern

San Jose State vs. Utah State

San Jose State is 18-6-1 against the spread this season (depending on closing numbers), but they are dealing with injuries to their top two scorers, Josh Uduje and Will McClendon. They will likely be without one, if not both, of those players. Meanwhile, Utah State ranks 18th in points per possession on offense.

Pick: Utah State -16.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Utah State -19.5)
