North Carolina A&T vs. Charleston

North Carolina A&T is dealing with the indefinite suspension of top scorers Landen Glasper and Ryan Forrest. However, in their first game without them, the team demonstrated a continued commitment to playing at an up-tempo pace, ranking 53rd in the nation in possessions per game. They will face a Charleston team that excels in home 3-point shooting, ranking fourth in the nation at 42.5%. Charleston also plays at a fast pace, ranking 43rd in total possessions per game. Meanwhile, North Carolina A&T enters the game ranked 329th in the nation in points per possession allowed.

Pick: Over 151.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 160.5)

7:00 PM Eastern

Temple vs. South Florida

South Florida should not struggle offensively against a Temple team that ranks 281st in turnovers forced per possession. Additionally, South Florida is expected to have plenty of second-chance opportunities, as Temple ranks 244th in defensive rebound percentage. Temple, on the other hand, may find it difficult to get open looks from beyond the arc against a South Florida defense allowing opponents to make only 30.3% of their 3-point shots at home this season.

Pick: South Florida +1 (Greg’s Handicap: South Florida -3.5)

Niagara vs. Merrimack

Merrimack should have ample scoring opportunities against a Niagara defense ranked 250th in points per possession allowed and 346th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage. Additionally, Merrimack’s defense should challenge Niagara’s offense, as they rank third in the nation in turnovers forced per possession in home games.

Pick: Merrimack -7 (Greg’s Handicap: Merrimack -11)

UNC Wilmington vs. Delaware

Delaware ranks 23rd in the nation in 3-point shooting percentage at home (40.1%), while UNC Wilmington struggles to defend the perimeter, ranking 246th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage away from home (35.7%). Additionally, Delaware is 84th in the country in home defensive rebound percentage, with opponents securing only 24% of their missed shots.

Pick: Delaware +6 (Greg’s Handicap: Delaware -1)

Hampton vs. Monmouth

Hampton ranks 253rd in the country in total possessions per game, and both teams have struggled with shooting efficiency. Monmouth ranks 355th in 2-point shooting percentage and 331st in overall field goal percentage, while Hampton ranks 335th in field goal percentage.

Pick: Under 142 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 135.5)

Elon vs. Campbell

Campbell ranks 326th in points per possession on offense at home this season, while Elon excels in rebounding and defense, ranking 14th in road rebound percentage and 17th in opponent field goal percentage allowed.

Pick: Elon +1.5 and Under 139 (Greg’s Handicap: Elon -5.5, Total: 133.5)

Sam Houston State vs. Florida International

Sam Houston State ranks 321st in points per possession allowed and relies heavily on 3-point shooting, ranking 33rd in the nation at 37.7%. However, Florida International is a strong perimeter defensive team, allowing opponents to make just 32.4% of their 3-point shots (ranking 117th). Sam Houston State also struggles defensively, ranking 248th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage.

Pick: Florida International +1 (Greg’s Handicap: Florida International -3.5)

Rider vs. Sacred Heart

Sacred Heart struggles defensively against the 3-point shot, ranking 330th in opponent 3-point percentage. However, Rider is equally poor in this area, ranking 337th in 3-point shooting percentage and 297th in points per possession. Rider also ranks 255th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage, while Sacred Heart shoots 36.5% from beyond the arc, ranking 60th nationally. Additionally, Rider ranks 273rd in opponent 2-point shooting percentage.

Pick: Sacred Heart -5 (Greg’s Handicap: Sacred Heart -9.5)

Youngstown State vs. Oakland

Oakland is one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the country, ranking 345th at 29.1%. They face a Youngstown State defense that excels in interior defense, ranking 11th in blocked shot percentage and 59th in 2-point shooting percentage allowed. This is largely due to the presence of 7-foot-3 Gabe Dynes, who is third in the country in blocks and anchors a defense ranked 20th in points per possession allowed away from home. Meanwhile, Oakland struggles defensively, ranking 272nd in points per possession allowed.

Pick: Youngstown State +5 (Greg’s Handicap: Youngstown State +1.5)

8:00 PM Eastern

Montana State vs. Northern Arizona

Northern Arizona should control the boards, ranking fifth in the nation in defensive rebound percentage, allowing opponents to rebound only 21.5% of their missed shots. They also defend the 3-point line significantly better at home, allowing a 3-point shooting percentage of just 32.8% compared to 37.5% in road games.

Pick: Northern Arizona PK (Greg’s Handicap: Northern Arizona -3)

North Dakota vs. Omaha

Omaha should take advantage of a North Dakota defense that ranks 358th in the nation in points per possession allowed. Omaha also dominates on the boards, ranking first in the nation in preventing offensive rebounds in home games, allowing opponents to secure just 16.4% of their missed shots.

Pick: Omaha -5.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Omaha -11.5)
