12:00 PM Eastern

Alabama vs. Kentucky

Alabama entered Friday ranked just 251st in 3-point shooting while also ranked 12th in the country in opponent 3-point shooting percentage. This game features a total so high that even both teams scoring 85 points does not guarantee an over.

Pick: Under 180 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 169.5)

1:00 PM Eastern

Kansas State vs. Kansas

Many casual bettors have noticed the trend of Kansas playing 15 of their first 16 games to the under this season, which has deflated this total. However, Kansas State is 141st in points per possession allowed and 304th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage.

Pick: Over 138.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 143.5)

2:00 PM Eastern

Davidson vs. Rhode Island

Rhode Island ranks second in the country in opponent 3-point shooting percentage, while Davidson struggles defensively, ranking 331st in opponent 3-point shooting percentage away from home (38.3%) and outside the top 280 in points per possession allowed in road games.

Pick: Rhode Island -1 (Greg’s Handicap Rhode Island -7.5)

Cornell vs. Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania is 348th in the nation in points per possession allowed at home and 350th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage at home (40.3%). Cornell, on the other hand, attempts 50.9% of its shots from 3-point range in road games (9th highest nationally) and ranks 19th in road 3-point shooting percentage (38.6%).

Pick: Cornell -8 (Greg’s Handicap Cornell -9.5)

Arizona vs. Texas Tech

Arizona ranks 272nd in road 3-point shooting percentage (30.4%), while Texas Tech excels, ranking 8th nationally in 3-point shooting percentage (39.7%) and 2nd in points per possession. Texas Tech is also 55th in turnovers forced per possession at home and 45th in points per possession allowed.

Pick: Texas Tech -3.5 (Greg’s Handicap Texas Tech -5.5)

Eastern Michigan vs. Bowling Green

Eastern Michigan is 361st nationally in opponent 3-point shooting percentage, while Bowling Green ranks 112th in home 3-point shooting percentage (36.4%). Eastern Michigan also struggles offensively, ranking 227th in points per possession with a turnover rate of 269th.

Pick: Bowling Green -5 (Greg’s Handicap Bowling Green -10.5)

UMKC vs. North Dakota

UMKC ranks 43rd in road 3-point shooting percentage (30.3%) and plays at a very slow pace, ranking 306th in possessions per game and 306th in points per possession on offense in road games.

Pick: Under 147 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 138.5)

Niagara vs. Manhattan

Manhattan can exploit Niagara’s weak perimeter defense (37.8% opponent 3-point shooting, 343rd in the country). Niagara also sees a significant offensive drop-off away from home, scoring 17.4 fewer points per 100 possessions compared to home games.

Pick: Manhattan -1.5 (Greg’s Handicap Manhattan -8)

3:00 PM Eastern

Purdue vs. Oregon

Purdue’s 3-point shooting percentage drops from 43.8% at home to 34% on the road. Defensively, Purdue ranks 114th in points per possession allowed, while Oregon is sharper at 68th.

Pick: Oregon -2 (Greg’s Handicap Oregon -4.5)

UNC Greensboro vs. Western Carolina

Western Carolina struggles with turnovers, ranking 351st in turnovers per possession, while UNC Greensboro thrives on the perimeter, ranking 51st in 3-point shooting percentage and 38th in opponent 3-point shooting defense.

Pick: UNC Greensboro -6.5 (Greg’s Handicap UNC Greensboro -12.5)

4:00 PM Eastern

Bradley vs. Murray State

Bradley ranks 3rd nationally in 3-point shooting percentage (41.4%), but struggles in offensive rebounding away from home, ranking 328th. Meanwhile, Murray State is 57th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage.

Pick: Murray State +1 (Greg’s Handicap Murray State -1.5)

Loyola Chicago vs. Dayton

Dayton ranks 333rd in possessions per game at home, while Loyola Chicago excels in road defensive rebounding, allowing opponents to grab only 21.7% of their missed shots as offensive rebounds.

Pick: Under 143.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 138.5)

Troy vs. South Alabama

South Alabama is highly efficient in ball control, ranking 21st in fewest turnovers per possession and 30th in turnovers forced. Meanwhile, Troy struggles offensively on the road, ranking 350th in 3-point shooting percentage and 356th in turnovers per possession.

Pick: South Alabama -4 (Greg’s Handicap South Alabama -7)

Colorado State vs. Wyoming

Wyoming shoots well at home, ranking 51st in home 3-point shooting percentage (39.5%), while Colorado State struggles on the road, ranking 276th in 3-point shooting percentage (30.3%). Both teams are strong in defensive rebounding, with Wyoming ranked 35th and Colorado State 33rd.

Pick: Wyoming +4 (Greg’s Handicap Wyoming -2.5)
