Chicago State vs. Long Island

2:00 PM Eastern

Chicago State is coming off its first win of the season with a road triumph over Wagner. However, the team still ranks 328th nationally in points allowed per possession and 362nd in points scored per possession. Meanwhile, 27.3% of the points Long Island gives up come at the free-throw line, but Chicago State is just 313th in free-throw shooting percentage at 66.1%.

Pick: Long Island -5.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Long Island -12)

Iona vs. Siena

2:00 PM Eastern

Iona has struggled with turnovers, ranking 356th in turnovers per possession, and has allowed opponents to shoot 39.8% from 3-point range in road games, which ranks 346th nationally. Additionally, Iona ranks 306th in 3-point shooting percentage at just 29.8%.

Pick: Siena -2 (Greg’s Handicap: Siena -5.5)

Manhattan vs. Rider

2:00 PM Eastern

Rider ranks 296th in points per possession and 339th in possessions per game entering Saturday. Manhattan, meanwhile, ranks 147th nationally in points scored per possession.

Pick: Under 147 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 140.5)

Southern Illinois vs. Illinois State

4:00 PM Eastern

Illinois State entered Saturday tied for 14th nationally in 3-point shooting percentage at 39.1% and 50th in points per possession. Southern Illinois ranks 262nd in points per possession allowed and 314th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage, while also being 268th in turnovers per possession on offense and 269th in points per possession.

Pick: Illinois State -6.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Illinois State -10.5)

Illinois vs. Washington

4:00 PM Eastern

Washington entered Saturday ranked 152nd in points per possession on offense and 173rd in total possessions per game. Meanwhile, the Illinois defense has been one of the most efficient in the country, ranking eighth in points allowed per possession and fourth in limiting offensive rebounds, allowing opponents to grab just 19.4% of their missed shots in games played away from home.

Pick: Under 155 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 148.5)

Maryland vs. Oregon

4:00 PM Eastern

Before Thursday night’s rough performance against Illinois, Oregon ranked 27th in the country in points per possession allowed. The Ducks should bounce back against a Maryland team traveling over 2,000 miles from home. Maryland’s defense should remain reliable, as they rank fourth nationally in points per possession allowed and 26th in limiting second-chance opportunities.

Pick: Under 150 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 145)

Kansas vs. Central Florida

4:00 PM Eastern

Kansas has been the best under team in college basketball this season, with only one of its games going over the total. The Jayhawks rank 235th in points per possession away from home, 214th in possessions per game, and 41st in points allowed per possession.

Pick: Under 148.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 144)

North Texas vs. Memphis

5:00 PM Eastern

North Texas entered Saturday ranked seventh nationally in points per possession allowed on the road and fourth in turnovers forced per possession. Meanwhile, Memphis struggles with ball security, ranking 319th in turnovers per possession on offense.

Pick: North Texas +9 (Greg’s Handicap: North Texas +4.5)
