UNC Greensboro vs. Chattanooga

UNC Greensboro entered Wednesday ranked 56th in the country in points per possession allowed in road games and 27th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage. Chattanooga, on the other hand, attempts 51.2% of their field goals in home games from beyond the arc, the 20th-highest rate in the country.

Pick: UNC Greensboro vs. Chattanooga Under 143.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 136.5)

Oregon vs. Ohio State

Ohio State has been a different team offensively at home compared to on the road, ranking 29th in points per possession at home versus 202nd in road and neutral court games. They are also 54th in points per possession allowed at home. Oregon enters this game having allowed at least 73 points in three of their first four Big Ten conference games.

Pick: Ohio State -2.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Ohio State -4.5)

Purdue vs. Rutgers

Rutgers’ star freshman Dylan Harper played against Wisconsin on Monday but was not at 100% and had to exit the game due to an injury in a 75-63 loss. Rutgers now faces a Purdue team that ranks 343rd in the nation in possessions per game on the road. Rutgers is only 122nd in points per possession scored this season, even with Harper healthy for most of it.

Pick: Purdue vs. Rutgers Under 149.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 145)

Texas State vs. Troy

Troy entered Wednesday ranked 355th in the nation in turnovers per possession on offense and 319th in 3-point shooting percentage at 29.4%. Texas State, on the other hand, ranks 67th in 3-point shooting at 36.1% and 156th in defensive rebound percentage, while Troy ranks 257th in this category.

Pick: Texas State +7 (Greg’s Handicap: Texas State +3)

Jacksonville State vs. Western Kentucky

Western Kentucky is second in the nation in total possessions per game. Meanwhile, Jacksonville State ranks 40th in the nation in road 3-point shooting percentage at 37.4% but struggles defensively, ranking 362nd in the country in turnovers forced per possession.

Pick: Jacksonville State vs. Western Kentucky Over 152.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 160.5)

UT Martin vs. Western Illinois

Western Illinois slows games down significantly, ranking 356th in total possessions per game. UT Martin is only 311th in points per possession but ranks 45th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage on the road. Their own 3-point shooting percentage of 28.9% ranks 326th.

Tarleton State vs. Southern Utah

Tarleton State has the highest turnover rate on offense of all 364 Division I teams and ranks 344th in rebound percentage. Their lone strength is 3-point shooting, where they rank 19th nationally. However, Southern Utah neutralizes this by ranking 91st in home 3-point shooting percentage defense, holding opponents to just 28.8% from beyond the arc.

Pick: Southern Utah -7.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Southern Utah -11.5)

CS Fullerton vs. UC Davis

CS Fullerton entered Wednesday ranked 335th or worse in both points scored and allowed per possession. They also lack a true point guard, with no player averaging at least two assists per game. UC Davis is 12th in turnovers forced per possession on defense at home this season.

Northern Arizona vs. Montana

Montana struggles to generate extra possessions, ranking 337th in offensive rebound percentage and 301st in turnovers forced per possession. They are also shooting just 29.8% from 3-point range at home. Northern Arizona, meanwhile, entered Wednesday ranked 86th in points per possession in road games.

Both teams struggle defensively. Eastern Washington ranks 341st in points allowed per possession and 355th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage. Portland State ranks 251st in points per possession allowed and 351st in turnovers forced per possession at home.

Hawaii vs. UC Riverside

Hawaii has the second-highest turnover rate per possession on the road among all 364 Division I teams. UC Riverside, despite ranking 304th in 2-point shooting overall, improves to 215th in home games and is 26th in home free throw shooting percentage at 80.2%.
