Clemson vs. Virginia

Virginia averages the fewest possessions per game in the country. Their 10th-ranked road three-point shooting percentage (39.5%) dips to 35.8% at home, ranking 158th in points per possession overall. Clemson ranks 37th nationally in points per possession allowed away from home and 31st in opponent three-point shooting percentage on the road.

Pick: Clemson vs. Virginia Under 133 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 126.5)

St. Joseph’s vs. Fordham

St. Joseph’s ranks 30th in the country in points per possession allowed, while Fordham is 252nd in points per possession on offense. St. Joseph’s also boasts a strong defense, ranking 29th nationally in three-point shooting defense away from home (30.1%), 12th in blocked shot percentage, and 22nd in opponent two-point shooting percentage.

Connecticut vs. Providence

Neither team plays at a fast pace, with Providence ranking 240th in possessions per game and Connecticut 279th. While Connecticut has the second-worst three-point shooting defense away from home (40.9%), opponents shoot only 31.8% against them at home, suggesting an outlier. Additionally, Connecticut leads the country in blocked shots per game, with three different players averaging at least 1.5 blocks per game.

Oklahoma vs. Mississippi

Oklahoma ranks third nationally in road three-point shooting defense, holding opponents to just 27.6%. Neither team is aggressive on the boards, with Oklahoma ranking 295th in road offensive rebounding percentage and Mississippi 323rd in offensive rebound percentage.

Alabama vs. Tennessee

Tennessee ranks fourth nationally in points per possession allowed and third in opponent three-point shooting percentage (27.6%). Alabama also excels defensively, ranking 18th in opponent three-point shooting percentage (29.9%), while Tennessee plays at a slow pace, ranking 313th in possessions per game.

Both teams rank among the bottom 20 nationally in points per possession allowed. However, North Dakota plays at a more moderate pace, ranking 129th in possessions per game. Both teams struggle with three-point shooting—North Dakota ranks 318th in road three-point shooting percentage (29.4%), while South Dakota ranks 287th (31.7%).

Stony Brook ranks 353rd in points per possession allowed at home and 303rd in offensive efficiency. Meanwhile, Elon ranks 14th in opponent two-point shooting percentage on the road and 12th in road rebound percentage.

Grambling vs. Florida A&M

Grambling has struggled offensively, ranking 341st in points per possession and 355th in turnovers per possession away from home. Meanwhile, Florida A&M leads the SWAC in three-point shooting during conference play (36.7%). Additionally, Grambling’s Antwan Burnett, the team’s second-leading scorer and rebounder, missed their last game due to injury and has been battling health issues all season.

Pick: Florida A&M -1.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Florida A&M -5.5)

Missouri vs. Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt forces turnovers at a high rate, ranking 37th in turnovers forced per possession, while also ranking 12th in fewest turnovers committed at home. Missouri shoots 39.7% from three at home but only 33.7% on the road. Additionally, Missouri ranks 352nd in the percentage of opponent offensive plays resulting in free throws, which could be an issue against a Vanderbilt team that makes 74.4% of their free throws at home.

Pick: Vanderbilt +2.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Vanderbilt -1)

Campbell vs. Charleston

Campbell ranks 89th in points per possession on offense in road games and 21st in opponent three-point shooting percentage (30.1%). This could help contain Charleston, which ranks ninth in home three-point shooting percentage (41.1%) but struggles defensively, ranking 268th in opponent three-point shooting percentage at home (35%).
