Chattanooga vs. Bradley

Bradley will be without Zek Montgomery, who opted out of the NIT after averaging 12.2 points per game this season. They have dealt with a few injuries throughout the tournament but still have plenty of depth. Bradley ranks second in the country in 3-point shooting percentage at 39.8%, and every player on the roster who has made a 3-pointer this season is shooting at least 35.7% from beyond the arc. Meanwhile, Chattanooga ranks 274th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage at 35.3%. Offensively, Chattanooga’s 3-point shooting drops from 38.8% at home to 34.9% on the road, a weakness amplified by the fact that they don’t have a single player averaging at least five rebounds per game.

Pick: Bradley -3.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Bradley -4.5)

Florida Gulf Coast vs. Cleveland State

Florida Gulf Coast plays at a slow and efficient pace, entering the CBI ranked 33rd in points per possession away from home while ranking 330th in possessions per game in those contests. Both defenses in this matchup have struggled to defend the perimeter, allowing plenty of clean looks from beyond the arc. Florida Gulf Coast has allowed opponents to shoot 35.2% from 3-point range in road and neutral site games, while Cleveland State has given up a 35% 3-point shooting percentage in those same settings.

Pick: Over 139 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 143)

9:00 PM Eastern

North Texas vs. Oklahoma State

North Texas ranks 12th in the country in fewest points per possession allowed in road and neutral court games. They face an Oklahoma State team that struggles on both ends—ranking 284th in opponent 2-point shooting percentage on defense and 293rd in turnovers per possession on offense. Overall, Oklahoma State ranks just 274th in points per possession, making this a tough matchup against North Texas’ stout defense.

Pick: North Texas Moneyline (Greg’s Handicap: North Texas -2.5)
