6:30 PM Eastern

Maryland vs. Michigan

Michigan’s biggest weakness in this game is a lack of ball security, as they rank 338th in turnovers committed per possession at home. Meanwhile, Maryland is balanced on both sides of the court, ranking 22nd in the nation in points per possession on offense and eighth in points per possession allowed on defense. That defense also ranks 50th in turnovers forced per possession.

Pick: Maryland +2 (Greg’s Handicap: Maryland -1.5)

7:00 PM Eastern

Rhode Island vs. St. Joseph’s

Rhode Island has been one of the better three-point shooting defenses in the country, with opponents making just 31.1% of their three-point shots—ranking 42nd in the nation. St. Joseph’s ranks 175th in points per possession and just 194th in offensive rebound percentage.

Pick: Rhode Island +11 and Under 154.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Rhode Island +7.5, Total 149.5)

Xavier vs. Butler

Butler is playing at a relatively slow tempo this season, ranking 239th in total possessions per game. They are allowing teams to make only 30.8% of their three-point shots, which ranks 34th in the nation. Xavier, meanwhile, is 92nd in opponent three-point shooting percentage (32.3%) and 33rd in defensive rebound percentage, with opponents grabbing offensive rebounds on only 22.5% of their missed shots in Xavier’s home games.

Pick: Xavier vs. Butler Under 155.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 151.5)

Kansas State vs. Cincinnati

Cincinnati is hard to trust to cover a spread in a game that might involve late-game fouling, as they rank 332nd in the country in free throw shooting at just 66.7%. Kansas State’s recent defensive play has improved, bringing them back into the top 100 in points per possession allowed after a rough start to the season.

Pick: Kansas State +9.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Kansas State +4.5)

Oklahoma State vs. Central Florida

Oklahoma State ranks 324th in the country in points per possession away from home due to an inability to take care of the ball, ranking 321st in turnovers per possession on the road. They will face a Central Florida defense that allows 14.4 fewer points per 100 possessions at home compared to away.

Pick: Oklahoma State vs. Central Florida Under 164 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 160.5)

Florida vs. Alabama

Alabama’s offense ranks fifth in the country in points per possession away from home, but they actually score fewer points per possession at home, ranking just 53rd in this category. Florida is sixth in the nation in opponent three-point shooting percentage—critical against an Alabama team that takes 47.2% of its shots from beyond the arc, the 28th-highest three-point attempt rate in the country.

Pick: Florida +3.5 and Under 178.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Florida -2, Total 170)

Chicago State vs. Long Island

Long Island ranks 22nd in the country in points per possession allowed and faces a Chicago State team that ranks 362nd in points per possession and 359th in rebound percentage. Chicago State will also be under pressure from a Long Island team that ranks 44th in turnovers forced per possession at home.

Pick: Long Island -12 (Greg’s Handicap: Long Island -18.5)

UT Martin vs. Tennessee Tech

UT Martin’s three-point shooting ranks just 322nd in the country at 30.7%, and they are 313th in turnovers per possession away from home. Tennessee Tech struggles with second-chance opportunities, ranking 309th in offensive rebound percentage. Both teams rank in the top 200 in points per possession allowed but are outside the top 265 in points per possession scored.

Pick: UT Martin vs. Tennessee Tech Under 144 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 137.5)

8:00 PM Eastern

Missouri vs. Oklahoma

Missouri ranks 27th in the country in turnovers forced per possession, while Oklahoma boasts one of the nation’s best three-point defenses, ranking 16th, with opponents making just 30% of their attempts. This should slow down a Missouri offense that ranks 22nd in three-point shooting percentage (37.6%). While both teams play at a fast pace, neither plays at an extreme tempo—Missouri ranks 117th and Oklahoma 118th in total possessions per game.

Pick: Missouri vs. Oklahoma Under 161 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 156.5)

8:30 PM Eastern

Morehead State vs. Lindenwood

Lindenwood ranks 363rd out of 364 Division I teams in three-point shooting percentage (27.2%) and is unlikely to get many second-chance points, as Morehead State ranks 11th in defensive rebound percentage, allowing opponents to grab offensive rebounds on just 22.7% of missed shots.

Pick: Morehead State -1 (Greg’s Handicap: Morehead State -3.5)

10:30 PM Eastern

Washington vs. USC

Both teams struggle on the offensive glass—USC ranks 234th in offensive rebound percentage at home, while Washington ranks 217th. However, USC holds teams to 32.6% shooting from three-point range (111th in the nation), while Washington ranks 226th in points per possession on offense.

Pick: Washington vs. USC Under 150.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 147.5)
