Connecticut Huskies vs. Michigan Wolverines

Connecticut has guarded the perimeter well all season, ranking seventh in opponent 3-point shooting percentage away from home at 29.3%. They face a Michigan team with incredible balance, ranking fourth in the nation in points per possession on offense and seventh in points per possession allowed on defense, with their inside game carrying the day, ranking fourth in 2-point shooting percentage on offense. Even if forward Yaxel Lendeborg is not as effective as he normally is for Michigan, the Wolverines are coming off of defeating Arizona by 18 points with him playing only 14 total minutes. Their own perimeter play is also solid, ranking 21st in opponent 3-point shooting percentage at 30.5%. They will look to speed the game as Michigan is 41st in total possessions per game, while Connecticut is 306th.

Picks: Michigan -6.5 and Over 144
(Greg’s Handicap Michigan -7.5 and Total 147.5)
