Campbell Fighting Camels vs. Monmouth Hawks

Not many 2-point field goals get converted in Monmouth games as the team is 305th in 2-point shooting percentage on offense but are also 12th in opponent 2-point shooting in games played away from home and cut down on scoring opportunities even further with ranking 36th in turnovers per possession and 232nd in total possessions per game while Campbell is 245th in 3-point shooting percentage at 32.7% and are 226th in turnovers per possession.

Picks: Monmouth -1.5 and Under 152 (Greg’s Handicap Monmouth -4 and Total 147)

8:30 PM Eastern

Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils vs. Grambling Tigers

Mississippi Valley State has struggled in nearly every aspect of basketball as they rank 364th in points per possession on offense and 357th in points per possession allowed on defense and faces a Grambling defense that is 10th in turnovers per possession generated away from home on defense and should get plenty of opportunities to score with the clock stopped as Mississippi Valley State allows the third-most free throw attempts per opponent field goal attempt in the nation and Grambling has a nice edge on the boards, ranking 235th in rebound percentage while Mississippi Valley State is 353rd.

Pick: Grambling -12.5 (Greg’s Handicap Grambling -14.5)

9:30 PM Eastern

Detroit Titans vs. Robert Morris Colonials

Robert Morris has had issues with turnovers this season, ranking 295th in turnovers per possession on offense, but should get more clean possessions than normal in this game as Detroit is 333rd in turnovers per possession generated and are overall 301st in points per possession allowed while Robert Morris is 13th in 3-point shooting percentage at 38.5% and are rebounding 36.7% of their missed shots as an offensive rebound, which ranks ninth in the nation while Detroit sees their 3-point shooting percentage dip away from home, shooting 39.3% at home and 32.1% away from home.

Pick: Robert Morris -4.5 (Greg’s Handicap Robert Morris -6.5)

10:00 PM Eastern

Weber State Wildcats vs. Eastern Washington Eagles

Eastern Washington has had defensive issues away from home, ranking 332nd in points per possession allowed in a road or neutral court environment and they are allowing teams to shoot 37.8% from 3-point range away from home compared to 30.2% at home while on offense the team is 262nd in turnovers per possession and may not get as many second chances to score as normal with Weber State allowing opponents to grab only 25.3% of their missed shots as an offensive rebound, ranking 55th in defensive rebound percentage while Eastern Washington is 199th in defensive rebound percentage.

Pick: Weber State +2.5 (Greg’s Handicap Weber State -4.5)

Hofstra Pride vs. Towson Tigers

Towson has been unable to get anything going from 3-point range, ranking 350th in 3-point shooting percentage at 29.3% while Hofstra is 16th in road 3-point shooting percentage at 38.1% and are stout on the inside, ranking third in the country in opponent 2-point shooting percentage and though Towson overall ranks 64th in the country in points per possession allowed on defense, they are giving up 14.3 points more per 100 possessions away from home than at home.
