Harvard vs. Northeastern

7:00 PM ET

Northeastern is having the same issues as they did last season when they ranked 350th in opponents 3-point shooting percentage at 37.5%, allowing opponents to shoot 40.4% from 3-point range in their first two games this season. Harvard has held two of their three opponents to 67 points or fewer and freshman Robert Hinton has scored 72 points in the first three games of the season.

Harvard +4 (Greg’s Handicap Harvard -2.5)

Merrimack vs. VCU

7:00 PM ET

Merrimack led the country in turnovers forced on a per possession basis last season and picked up right where they left off in their season opener against Vermont, forcing 16 turnovers in a 65-51 victory Now, they face a VCU team that enters Wednesday turning the ball over an average of 14 times per game.

Merrimack +16 (Greg’s Handicap Merrimack +12)

St. Bonaventure vs. Florida Gulf Coast

7:00 PM ET

Though St. Bonaventure is 2-0 and Florida Gulf Coast is 0-2, the schedule for Florida Gulf Coast has been a bit more difficult with a single-digit road loss to UNC Greensboro and a cover of the spread in their 67-51 loss to TCU. St. Bonaventure still has things to work out on offense, turning the ball over 26 total times in their first two games and shooting just 23.5% from 3-point range as they look to replace their top six scorers from last season.

Florida Gulf Coast Moneyline +105 (Greg’s Handicap Florida Gulf Coast -3)

Milwaukee vs. Longwood

7:00 PM ET

While Milwaukee brings back three of last season’s top four scorers, the absence of last season’s top scorer BJ Freeman was apparent in the 87-68 loss against Northern Iowa in their first game against a Division I foe. Former St. Bonaventure and Holy Cross starting guard Kyrell Luc gives Longwood both a guard that can pass and an outside shooting threat that they did not have when Walyn Napper was running the offense last season. The upgraded offense gets a favorable matchup with a Milwaukee defense that last season ranked 301st in points allowed on a per possession basis and did not look improved on defense against Northern Iowa.

Longwood -4 (Greg’s Handicap Longwood -6.5)

North Texas vs. Minnesota

8:00 PM ET

While the North Texas defense looks to be stout again, they allowed an average of 50.5 points per game to Evansville and non-Division I Wayland. Those teams do not compare to playing a Minnesota team who thrives at home. A season ago, Minnesota allowed 24.1 points fewer per 100 possessions at home than on the road and should pick apart a North Texas team that lost all of their top six scorers from last season.

Minnesota -1 (Greg’s Handicap Minnesota -4.5)
