Florida Atlantic vs. Charleston
7:00 PM ET
While Florida Atlantic scoring at least 97 points in their first three games of the season jumps off the page, they’ve also been solid defensively to begin the season, ranking 37th in turnovers forced per possession in games against Division I teams and held two of their first three opponents to 64 points or fewer.
Florida Atlantic vs. Charleston Under 166.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 153)
Loyola Chicago vs. Princeton
7:00 PM ET
This sets up to be a low possession game, with Princeton ranked 342nd in the country in total possessions per game last season and a Loyola Chicago defense that a season ago ranked 15th in the country in points allowed on a per possession basis. Loyola returned their main forwards and centers from last season’s defense.
Loyola Chicago vs. Princeton Under 147 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 140)
Lindenwood vs. Robert Morris
7:00 PM ET
Robert Morris is the host of this event with both of these teams playing in a back-to-back with Lindenwood trying to catch their breath from Thursday after cutting a 23-point deficit against New Orleans down to two points before eventually losing. Last season, Robert Morris ranked 353rd in America in turnovers committed on a per possession basis in home games, and though guard Kam Woods missed Thursday’s game with an injury, last season’s turnovers have been cleaned up as they face a Lindenwood defense that has allowed 175 points in their first two games against Division I teams.
Robert Morris -4.5 (Greg’s Handicap Robert Morris -10.5)
Georgia Southern vs. NC Central
7:00 PM ET
While Georgia Southern is off to a 2-1 start and NC Central is 0-3, the level of competition these teams have played is not comparable, with Georgia Southern getting a test from non-Division I Augusta in their last game, winning 79-69. Georgia Southern is currently 325th in the country in rebound percentage after ranking 307th in this category last season and have been fortunate with an opponent 3-point shooting percentage of 23.3% through three games thus far.
NC Central +6.5 (Greg’s Handicap NC Central +1.5)
Ohio vs. Memphis
8:00 PM ET
Ohio returns much of last season’s core that ranked 18th among Division I teams in fewest turnovers committed on a per possession basis on offense and 26th in turnovers forced per possession in road games last season. Former Wofford starting point guard Jackson Paveletzke has added even more backcourt depth as both a facilitator and a career 40% 3-point shooter.
Ohio +13.5 (Greg’s Handicap Ohio +10)
