Northern Kentucky vs. Charleston
1:00 PM ET
Charleston is playing at one of the fastest rates in the nation, entering Tuesday 12th in total possessions per game while also 198th in points allowed on a per possession basis. Northern Kentucky comes in ranked 168th in points allowed on a per possession basis and at least 72 points to three of the four Division I teams they have faced.
Northern Kentucky vs. Charleston Over 141.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 153)
New Orleans vs. Baylor
2:00 PM ET
While this is a massive number, Baylor has shown the ability to pull away from overmatched competition with their two true home games being a 104-67 win over Sam Houston and a 104-41 win over Tarleton State. They face a New Orleans team that ranks 311th in points scored on a per possession basis and 312th in rebound percentage.
Baylor -32.5 (Greg’s Handicap Baylor -37.5)
UT Martin vs. Tennessee
4:00 PM ET
While Tennessee is 17th in the nation in points scored on a per possession basis, their 12.8 turnovers per game are a concern and have been masked by making 41.1% of their 3-point shot attempts. UT Martin has slowed down their tempo this season and ranks in the top 150 in both rebound percentage and points allowed on a per possession basis.
UT Martin +38.5 (Greg’s Handicap UT Martin +31)
Massachusetts vs. Harvard
4:00 PM ET
The return of Louis Lesmond is a game changer for Harvard. They won their first game 78-67 over Colgate with him back after missing the first five games of the season. Now they get to host a struggling Massachusetts team that is 310th in the country in 3-point shooting percentage after losing three of last season’s top four scorers.
Harvard +2.5 (Greg’s Handicap Harvard -1)
Oklahoma vs. Providence
5:00 PM ET
Though he is a game-time decision, Providence is expected to get their leader in points per game from the past two seasons, Bryce Hopkins, back on the court for the first time all season. How close to 100 percent he will be if he goes is a giant question mark, while Oklahoma has done a supreme job of generating turnovers, ranking sixth in turnovers forced on a per possession basis on defense this season.
Oklahoma -2.5 (Greg’s Handicap Oklahoma -7)
UW Milwaukee vs. Central Florida
7:00 PM ET
While the Jaylin Sellers injury continues to leave the Central Florida guard rotation at less than 100 percent, the forwards are giving the team second chances with 34% of their missed shots resulting in an offensive rebound. They face a UW Milwaukee team that is shooting 41% from the field away from home and overall are 320th nationally in free throw shooting percentage.
Central Florida -12.5 (Greg’s Handicap Central Florida -18)
South Carolina State vs. Marshall
7:00 PM ET
South Carolina State has decided to not have a go-to player, having 11 different players averaging at least 10.9 minutes per game, which has not led to cohesive offense, ranking 278th in points scored per possession entering Tuesday. Marshall is running teams off the 3-point line, with opponents attempting 27.2% of their field goals from 3-point range, which ranked third in the nation.
Marshall -8.5 (Greg’s Handicap Marshall -13.5)
Xavier vs. Michigan
8:30 PM ET
The moving pieces for the Wolverines are taking some time to click, with the offense ranked 341st in the country in turnovers committed per offensive play. Xavier has been one of the best in the country at preventing second chance scoring opportunities with opponents grabbing only 19.3% of their missed shots as an offensive rebound, which ranks 15th in the nation.
Xavier +2 (Greg’s Handicap Xavier -3.5)
