Louisville vs. West Virginia

12:00 PM ET

West Virginia had just one player off the bench play more than eight minutes in their overtime win against Gonzaga and now have to play a back-to-back against a Louisville team that was able to coast to victory against Indiana on Wednesday. The Cardinals have eight different players logging over 11 minutes per game.

Wake Forest vs. Florida

Wake Forest should see their 3-point shooting percentage of 29.1% improve after bringing back the key components to a team that ranked 41st in this category a season ago at 36.4%. Last season, Florida allowed opponents to shoot 27.5% from 3-point range at home and 36.2% away from home. A similar split is developing this year with a 26.4% opponents’ 3-point shooting percentage at home that shoots up to 42.6% away from home.

Wake Forest +8.5 (Greg’s Handicap Wake Forest +6)

Purdue vs. NC State

3:00 PM ET

Purdue entered Wednesday 35th in points scored on a per possession basis and eighth in 3-point shooting percentage. The NC State defense is allowing opponents to rebound 29.4% of their missed shots, which ranks 231st in the country. Additionally, NC State has yet to face a power conference team or play a game away from home.

Purdue -6.5 (Greg’s Handicap Purdue -8)

Ole Miss vs. BYU

While BYU has some of the best metrics in the country on both the offensive and defensive end, they have yet to play away from Provo with all of their games coming against overmatched competition. Now they face an Ole Miss team that is committing the second-fewest turnovers per possession of any team in the nation.

Utah State vs. St. Bonaventure 

5:30 PM ET

Utah State has been one of the most efficient teams in the country, ranking sixth in the country points scored on a per possession basis and have forced their opponents into mistakes, ranking 15th in turnovers forced on a per possession basis. go St. Bonaventure lost their entire backcourt from the 2023-24 season.

Utah State -6 (Greg’s Handicap Utah State -11)

Washington vs Colorado State

Washington’s guard play has left a lot to be desired thus far for a team that is 239th in points scored on a per possession basis. While the team is second in the country in opponent 3-point shooting percentage, Washington has allowed 19% 3-point shooting at home, which goes up to 40% in games played away from home.

Butler vs. Northwestern

Butler has been losing the turnover battle this season, ranking 284th in turnover committed per possession entering Wednesday while ranking 342nd in turnovers forced per possession on defense. They face a Northwestern defense that is 49th in turnovers forced per possession on defense.

UNLV vs Mississippi State 

9:30 PM ET

UNLV entered Wednesday ranked 46th in the nation in points scored on a per possession basis and play a Mississippi State unit that has not been the same away from home, allowing 22 more points per 100 possessions in games away from home versus at home.
