Yale has been one of the most efficient offensive teams in the nation, ranking 10th in points per possession in away games. They are third in 3-point shooting percentage overall at 40%, but face a Pennsylvania team that is 60th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage at 31.8%. Pennsylvania entered the weekend leading the nation in 3-point shooting percentage away from home at 41.5%, while Yale’s defense overall ranks 153rd in points per possession allowed. Yale is also 222nd in opponent 3-point shooting percentage at 34.6%.

Picks: Pennsylvania +9.5 and Over 142.5 (Greg’s Handicap Pennsylvania +7.5 and Total 143.5)

Dayton Flyers vs. VCU Rams

Dayton gambles for turnovers, ranking sixth in turnovers per possession generated on defense in road and neutral court games, but is also allowing teams to shoot 36.9% from 3-point range away from home, which ranks 305th in the nation. VCU is 37th in 3-point shooting percentage nationally at 36.5%. Both teams get to the free throw line, with Dayton third in the country in free throw attempts per possession, while VCU is eighth.

Picks: VCU -2.5 and Over 139.5 (Greg’s Handicap VCU -3.5 and Total 143.5)

Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Vanderbilt Commodores

Both teams are looking to play fast, as Arkansas is 17th in the nation in possessions per game while Vanderbilt is 44th. Both teams may be slightly slowed by an early tip time and by playing their third game in three days. Both teams are good at guarding the 3-point arc, with Arkansas 46th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage at 31.4% and Vanderbilt 41st at 31.2%.

Pick: Arkansas vs. Vanderbilt Under 168.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 164)

They are doing a good job of taking care of the ball, ranking 52nd in turnovers per possession. South Florida is 21st in free throws attempted per offensive play. Wichita State on defense is 28th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage.
