Men’s and Women’s College Basketball Best Bets:
As is par for the course, we had a no-sweat winner in women’s hoops yesterday, as Loyola (MD) put an absolute beat down on American as 11.5-point favorites, winning by 39. On the men’s side, I couldn’t have been more wrong about the Arkansas Pine Bluff/Prairie View over, as that game totaled just 129 points despite an O/U of 166.5, but we did cash the Jackson State Over by a mile, thanks to a triple-overtime contest with Alabama A&M. Another small slate of women’s hoops today, so I will provide both men’s and women’s projections, and I’m testing a new, more complex version of TSI on the men’s side to try to regain some ground and get that to the level of success my women’s basketball has been.
