Men’s College Basketball Best Bets:

While we await the highly-anticipated men’s Final Four on Saturday, and the women’s Final Four on Friday, we’ve got the men’s college basketball crown tournament, featuring Colorado vs Oklahoma and Minnesota vs Baylor on Wednesday in Las Vegas. As always, TSI has you covered with projections on all of these games as they begin to unfold, and I’ll definitely be dropping men’s and women’s Final Four projections here on VSiN.com later this week, so stay tuned for those. For now, let’s get to the projections for Wednesday’s CBI games:

Oklahoma (-8.5) vs. Oklahoma, O/U 165.5

Oklahoma is a comfortable favorite in the 8:00 ET game vs Colorado, as the Sooners come into the game 19-15 and #21 in TSI’s updated power ratings. Colorado, on the other hand, is 17-15 and #70 in TSI. Oklahoma has covered in eight of its last 10 games, while Colorado has covered in six of its last 10. The Sooners have won four of their last five games, but lost their last outing to Arkansas in the SEC tournament. Colorado is on a two-game skid and has lost three of its last five overall. TSI projects Oklahoma -7.5 with a total of 165, so not much room on the numbers in this game, although it’s worth pointing out that Colorado has gone Over the total in each of its last four games, and the recent performance trends would lend themselves to Oklahoma and the Over.

Leans: Oklahoma -8.5, Over 165.5

Baylor (-3.5) vs Minnesota, O/U 148.5

The Baylor Bears are 3.5-point favorites in Vegas against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, with an Over/Under of 148.5. Baylor is just 16-16 on the season, and Minnesota is under .500 at 15-17. Baylor checks in at #40 in TSI, while Minnesota is #94 in the updated ratings. Baylor has won just two of its previous five games and has gone 4-5-1 ATS in its last 10. Minnesota is also 2-3 in its last five straight up, and has gone 5-5 ATS in its last 10. TSI projects Baylor -6.5 with a total of 144. The market seems to like the Over, so I’m going to stay off of the Under for now, but I will lay the points with Baylor here.

Bet: Baylor -3.5
