8 p.m. ET: Texas A&M Corpus Christi at Lamar (-1.5, 142.5)

Texas A&M Corpus Christi (15-10) has dropped three of their last four games and just fell to Stephen F. Austin 78-64, losing outright as 2.5-point road favorites. On the other hand, Lamar (14-10) has won five of their last six games and just took down UT Rio Grande Valley 70-68 but failed to cover as 4.5-point home favorites.

This line opened with Lamar listed as a 1-point home favorite. Sharps have jumped on the home team laying short chalk, driving Lamar up from -1 to -1.5. At DraftKings, Lamar is receiving 69% of spread bets and 82% of spread dollars, a wiseguy “low bets, higher dollars” bet split.

Ken Pom has Lamar winning by two points (72-70). As a result, those looking to back Lamar but also gain some added security in the event of a close game could target the Cardinals on the moneyline at -120.

Lamar has the better defensive efficiency (153rd vs 191st), offensive rebound percentage (34% vs 32%), three-point shooting (36% vs 35%) and free-throw shooting (71% vs 62%). Lamar is limiting their opponents to an effective field goal percentage of 48% compared to 51% for Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Lamar is 8-3 at home. Texas A&M Corpus Christi is 4-7 on the road.

8 p.m. ET: Bethune Cookman at Texas Southern (-3, 139.5)

Bethune Cookman (10-13) has won three straight and just held off Prairie View 85-82, pushing as 3-point road favorites. Meanwhile, Texas Southern (10-13) has dropped two in a row and just came up short against Florida A&M 66-64, losing outright as 8.5-point home favorites.

This line opened with Texas Southern listed as a 2.5-point home favorite. Sharps have quietly sided with the home chalk, driving Texas Southern up from -2.5 to -3. Some shops are even approaching -3.5. At DraftKings, Texas Southern is taking in 65% of spread bets and 85% of spread dollars, a sharp “low bets, higher dollars” bet discrepancy in their favor.

Ken Pom has Texas Southern winning by one point (69-68). As a result, many pros have specifically targeted Texas Southern on the moneyline (-145). At DraftKings, Texas Southern is receiving 71% of moneyline bets but a whopping 91% of moneyline dollars, indicating heavy respected action on the Tigers to earn a win on their home court.

Texas Southern has the superior three-point shooting (34% vs 30%), free-throw shooting (73% vs 68%) and is better at forcing turnovers (72nd vs 200th).

Texas Southern has buy-low value as a short home favorite on a losing skid against a sell-high road dog on a winning streak.

Texas Southern is 7-3 at home. Bethune Cookman is 4-12 on the road.
