The “rust” factor may be a thing in the College Football Playoff.
Last year, the four teams with byes all went 0-4 in the quarterfinals.
Last night, Ohio State, which hadn’t played since the Big Ten Championship on Dec. 6, fell behind by 14 in the first half and couldn’t recover, losing to Miami 24-14.
With that in mind, here are previews of today’s quarterfinals from Zach Cohen and Adam Burke:
>Orange: Oregon (-2.5) vs. Texas Tech, Noon ET
>Rose: Alabama (+7) vs. Indiana, 4 ET
>Sugar: Ole Miss (+6.5) vs. Georgia, 8 ET
