College Football Week 13 Late Line Movement Best Bets from the T Shoe Index:

If you tailed my Buffalo/Eastern Michigan Over bet earlier in the week, I hope you took your blood pressure medicine. That play looked completely dead until a scoring barrage in the second half that saw 14 points scored in about a minute and a half resuscitated the bet, to be then driven home by a miraculous display of athleticism by a Buffalo defender on a pick-six that pushed the total over all available numbers this week. I felt like Lou Brown in “Major League” when he was standing on the hospital bed, fist pumping as the Indians won the pennant. Now, let’s look to build on that momentum and make some late-week adds to our college football Week 13 best bets this week.

Indiana vs. Ohio State (-10; 52.5)

I’ve got a curveball for you here; as this spread and total have both seen two-way movement this week, most notably the spread going from 11 to 13.5 down to 10, I have my sights set on something I haven’t given out at all this year, which is a player prop. Looking back through Ohio State’s last several big games, one thing was clear: they want to get Emeka Egbuka the ball a lot. Egbuka had 10 catches and one TD against Oregon, three catches and one TD vs Penn State, seven catches vs. Notre Dame in 2023, and three catches with 1 TD vs. Michigan in 2023. “Big game ‘Mek” is a real thing in Columbus, and oddsmakers don’t seem to be aware, as his anytime touchdown prop is priced at just +110. I’m often very conservative in my approach to bets and how I illustrate my confidence, but I don’t see any way Ohio State doesn’t find a way to get him in the endzone after he’s been relatively quiet the last few weeks against inferior competition.

College Football Week 13 Best Bet: Emeka Egbuka Anytime Touchdown (+110) (Play at anything plus-money)

Kentucky vs. Texas (-20.5; 46.5)

Now, back to our normal programming of using my TSI projections to sniff out valuable bets. TSi projects just 42 points in this game, as both teams are in the TSI top ten defensively and Kentucky is outside the top 50 offensively. These teams have combined to go 2-5-2 to the under this year, and in games against P4 competition, they have averaged just 43 ppg.

With this being the penultimate game before rivalry week, I don’t think Texas is inclined to run it up if given the opportunity. I don’t think Kentucky is good enough offensively to threaten Texas. The Wildcats held Georgia to just 13 points, and I think another rock fight could be in the cards this week.

College Football Week 13 Best Bet: Under 46.5 (Play to 45)
