Michael Lombardi leaving VSiN to become the General Manager of the UNC Football Program

Michael Lombardi spoke for the first time after being named the new General Manager of the University of North Carolina Football Program and joining Head Coach Bill Belichick in Chapel Hill.

Belichick, winner of six Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots, was named head coach of the Tar Heels on Wednesday.

News of Lombardi’s hiring was first reported by VSiN.

Lombardi will be leaving VSiN for his new role, but called into his show “The Lombardi Line” to give the VSiN audience an exclusive interview.
