Happy MACtion week! We once again have college football from Tuesday to Saturday, as the MAC will provide Tuesday and Wednesday entertainment for the next few weeks. It’s also the start of the college basketball season, so this is a quick PSA before looking at the Week 11 college football games.

Make sure you are being smart with your bankroll. There is a ton of stuff to bet on right now, as the NBA and NHL regular seasons are rolling along, football every day, and now college hoops. Don’t overextend yourself and wind up blowing through your account. Stay smart, stay disciplined, and if you’re just looking for action, adjust your bet size accordingly.

Alright, soapboxing aside, let’s talk about the Week 11 college football odds.

Check out the DraftKings College Football Betting Splits and Circa College Football Betting Splits to follow line moves all week long!

Week 11 College Football Odds Report

Lines as of Sunday, November 2 at 6:00 p.m. PT

UMass at Akron (-11, 49)

Tuesday, 7 p.m. ET

This has the chance to be the worst football game you’ve ever seen, but this line absolutely needs to be discussed. Per the Killer Sports database, if this line holds at 11 or higher, it will be Akron’s biggest favorite role against a FBS team since 2017 when they were -14.5 against Kent State. I don’t care for trends because things change so much season over season, but Akron is 11-25-1 ATS in their last 37 games laying 11 or more and they’re on a 1-6-1 ATS run.

UMass-Akron Matchup

Northern Illinois at Toledo (-15, 41.5)

Wednesday, 7 p.m. ET

This is quite a spread with a super low total, but Northern Illinois has one of the worst offenses in the nation. The reason I really wanted to bring this game up is Toledo head coach Jason Candle. In fact, I’ll let regular VSiN guest and pro bettor Brad Powers say it for me.

Candle added another one to this stat in Toledo’s last game at Washington State, as the Rockets were bet into a favorite role and went off at -2 or -2.5. As you can see here, he’s laying a hefty number.

Northern Illinois-Toledo Matchup

Houston at UCF (-1.5, 47)

Friday, 8 p.m. ET

Circa opened Houston -2 in this one, but the betting market spoke and drove UCF into the favorite role. The Cougars had an awful showing over the weekend against West Virginia, so market confidence seems to have sagged a bit in Willie Fritz’s team. Both DraftKings (-2.5) and Fanduel (-1.5) also had Houston as the favorite at open. We’ll see if the line stays that way or not.

Houston-UCF Matchup

Tulane at Memphis (-6.5, 55.5)

Friday, 9 p.m. ET

Tulane opened +7 at DraftKings and +7.5 at Fanduel, but Circa opened the Green Wave +6, and the entirety of the betting market is just below the key number for this one. It’s a massive game and Tulane just had a hideous loss to UTSA, while Memphis navigated a tough spot against Rice for a convincing win. It wasn’t a surprise to see 7 or higher, but I think it was interesting to see some early attention on the underdog.

Tulane-Memphis Matchup

Georgia (-7.5, 57.5) at Mississippi State

Saturday, Noon ET

Georgia was more like -9 or -9.5 when activity began on this game. I think the 24-20 win over Florida feels “meh” in the minds of a lot of people, but it should’ve been a 31-20 win if Gunner Stockton didn’t take a knee and Georgia pretty comfortably won the box score. Mississippi State also beat Arkansas for Jeff Lebby’s first SEC win. So when you combine those two things, the line move makes sense.

Georgia-Mississippi State Matchup

Temple at Army (-7, 47.5)

Saturday, Noon ET

A tricky spot here for Army, as they just played against Air Force last week and now have to come back east and host the Owls. Temple has been playing pretty well this season given a complete lack of expectations coming into the year. This one opened -5 at Circa and -5.5 at Fanduel. As it turns out, both Circa and DraftKings got up to 7 before stopping there. I guess that’s a good place to sit right now for them, while others are still hanging onto 6.5.

Temple-Army Matchup

Indiana (-14, 49.5) at Penn State

Saturday, Noon ET

The Killer Sports database goes back a long way. Based on my search, this is the first time that Indiana has been favored over Penn State dating back to 1993. Two years ago, Indiana was a 31-point underdog in this game. Now they’re a two-touchdown road favorite. It is simply insane how quickly things can change in college football. I’m not sure if they’ll cover or not, but Curt Cignetti’s team seems pretty locked in. Indiana is 2-25 SU in their last 27 games against Penn State. Most shops opened this one -13.5 and got bet up.

Indiana-Penn State Matchup

Maryland (-1, 59) at Rutgers

Saturday, 2:30 p.m. ET

A much less heralded game from the Big Ten here, but one that has been on both sides of zero thus far. Circa opened Rutgers -2 and DraftKings -1.5, but both shops had Maryland favored as of Sunday night. I do think that these are two really hard teams to grade and I actually liked the Rutgers -2 opener and felt like that was the right number. We’ll see if this one keeps going back and forth or if Maryland is going to remain favored.

Maryland-Rutgers Matchup

Louisiana Tech (-4.5, 58) at Delaware

Saturday, 3 p.m. ET

Louisiana Tech opened below a field goal favorite at Circa, but bettors pounced quickly on this one. Delaware had some questionable injury report info last week and the Bulldogs have a top-notch defensive unit again this season. DraftKings was actually all the way out to -5.5 on this one. Again, a CFB spread between 4 and 6 isn’t hard to push around and the books aren’t terribly worried about a number like 5 or 5.5. I’m guessing this one does get to 6 at some places and then we’ll see if there’s buyback.

Louisiana Tech-Delaware Matchup

Nebraska at UCLA (-3, 44)

Saturday, 9 p.m. ET

Part of this has to do with the injury to Dylan Raiola. Part of this has to do with how much better UCLA has played since firing Deshaun Foster. But, most of it is the Raiola injury, as Nebraska opened a short road favorite across most of the market, but Raiola’s official diagnosis dropped and the line adjusted accordingly.

Nebraska-UCLA Matchup

San Diego State (-5.5, 51.5) at Hawaii

Saturday, 11 p.m. ET

San Diego State has been bet up quickly since this line opened. We haven’t gotten to 7 just yet, but Fanduel is likely to be the first to take the plunge, as they had the highest number as of Sunday night at 6.5. Circa actually opened this game at 4. DraftKings opened at 3. The Aztecs have pretty consistently taken early-week interest this season and this week is just another one.
