Masters Placement Markets
As with any sport these days, there are a lot of betting markets in golf. Outright winner wagers are usually the most popular, but you can also bet a variety of props, including head-to-head matchups and first-round leader. One market that continues to grow in popularity and is a good way to support players that you like is to bet placement markets. These are Top 5, Top 10, Top 20, Top 30, Top 40, and so on, depending on what your preferred sportsbook has to offer.
Winning a golf tournament is really difficult. Only one player in the field can do it, but there are a lot of players that can shoot four good rounds and wind up with a high finish. With an event like the Masters, specifically, this is a smaller field because of the criteria that must be met, so it can be a little bit easier to lock in on who you like.
