Masters Tournament 2023: Live golf betting opportunities heading into Sunday, April 9

Three storylines matter at this point: Brooks Koepka and Jon Rahm are staging a two-horse race, Tiger Woods is getting embarrassed by falling so far off the pace, and the lack of network TV coverage is a disgrace.

The best number on Koepka is -105 at Circa Sports, which also offers the best number on Rahm at +175. Koepka has been catching lucky breaks with the weather, and I think he’s going to seize this opportunity while holding a four-stroke lead through six holes of the third round. Koepka is a four-time major winner, with two PGAs and two US Opens, so he’s not going to choke under pressure. Rahm did not make the charge that I hoped to see Saturday, when CBS showed only a few minutes of live action.

On the DraftKings menu, I would recommend a wager on Scottie Scheffler at +120 to finish Top 10. Scheffler had two uncharacteristically terrible rounds with the putter yet still is 3-under par and tied for 14th. Don’t be surprised to see him make a big leap up the leaderboard.

Before play was postponed by rain, Tiger stopped at In-N-Out Burger by carding a double-double on his last two holes. It’s no secret Tiger is a player to fade in matchups. I would make Woods a slight underdog in a final-round matchup against Fred Couples.
