Justin Rose is still on top. Rory McIlroy is back in it.
We head to the third round of the Masters, teeing off at 9:50 a.m. ET.
Wes Reynolds, Matt Youmans, Kelley Bydlon and Matt Brown offer their second-round impressions and make third-round recommendations on wagers.
Let’s see what Youmans had to say.
We could be headed for a classic Sunday afternoon showdown with Scottie, Rory and Bryson. With bets on Scheffler and DeChambeau, I’ll probably be adding something on McIlroy in the +330 range to make sure I have those three covered. After bouncing back from his first-round implosion, Rory is basically back from the dead and can play loose and without as much pressure on the weekend. I’m also covered on Rose (125-1), Lowry (45-1) and Morikawa (17-1), so there’s no need to add much now. If anyone is looking to bet Scheffler, go to Circa Sports and grab the +460. “We are the best price in the world on Scottie,” Circa golf oddsmaker Sam Cooney said.
