Aqueduct Picks for Sunday, December 7:

RIDING FOR DOLLARS: With slightly more than three weeks remaining on the 2025 racing calendar, multiple-Eclipse Award-winning jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. has won in excess of $39.2 million this year, a new record amount — with the $40 million mark in sight. The year’s Eclipse Award race has narrowed to a two-rider contest between Irad and Flavien Prat.

TRACKING MR. ED AT THE BIG A: The featured $500K G2 CIGAR MILE was captured at the wire by favorite #7 BISHOPS BAY, from the Brad Cox barn and ridden by Flavien Prat. The 5YO son of Uncle Moe paid $4.40 to Win. As for results from the stakes-laden 11-race card, when all was said and run, the average $2 Win ticket returned $11.80. Fan-favorite trainers Todd Pletcher and Chad Brown each had two trips to the Winner’s Circle, as did popular riders Flavien Prat and Manny Franco. Turning to Sunday’s program, the streamlined eight-race card is headed by the $200K G3 COMELY STAKES for 3YO FILLIES going 1⅛-mile. The weather forecast calls for seasonable cool temperatures and cloudy skies. First post is 12:40 p.m. ET/9:40 a.m. PT. Here’s a look at Mr. Ed’s exclusive VSiN selections.

Mr. Ed’s betting on either of these to kick off DD: #2 LEXINGTON PIKE (7-2 morning line) for HOF trainer Todd Pletcher with popular NY rider Manny Franco, and #8 BELLAMY (5-2), also for Pletcher, with top jockey Flavien Prat aboard. It’s Todd’s world, and Mr. Ed’s counting on it.

Race 2 (1:09 p.m. ET/10:09 a.m. PT) — $48K MAIDEN CLAIMING for NY-bred 2YOs going 6 furlongs
