Aqueduct Picks for Sunday, November 16:

TRACKING MR. ED: Jockey Flavien Prat continued his seemingly daily march to the Winner’s Circle on Saturday, adding three more victories to his statistical leadership margin at Aqueduct. As for trainers, none of the ten were able to post a repeat score. Mr. Ed threw in a couple of chalky winners as well. At the windows, the average $2 Win ticket returned $12.10. Looking ahead to Sunday, the nine-race program features a pair of stakes — Race 3, the $175K G3 PEEBLES STAKES, and Race 7, the $150K FOREVER TOGETHER STAKES. First race goes to post at 12:10 p.m. ET/9:10 a.m. PT with, unfortunately, a 70% chance of showers. Here’s a look at Mr. Ed’s exclusive VSiN selections.

Mr. Ed’s Aqueduct Picks for Sunday, 11/16

Race 1 (12:10 p.m. ET/9:10 a.m. PT) — $43K MAIDEN CLAIMING for 3YOs & Up going a mile
Mr. Ed starts the day with a DD. He likes a pair in Leg 1: #1 MOMENTUM FILES (4-5 morning line) for popular NY pair, trainer Linda Rice and jockey Kendrick Carmouche as gelding drops off claim and stretches out to mile, and #6 SEQUENTIAL (6-1), who stretches out to mile, also for Rice with Jose Lezcano in saddle.
AQUEDUCT SELECTION: $5 Daily Double of 1,6/3,6. ($20)

Race 2 (12:40 p.m. ET/9:40 a.m. PT) — $38K MAIDEN CLAIMING for NY-bred 3YOs & up going a mile
Mr. Ed likes either of these to cash DD ticket: #3 SOLO JIM (3-1 morning line), who returns to the dirt for trainer Mark Hennig and HOF jockey Johnny Velazquez, and #6 METATRON (7-2) for conditioner Tom Morley with rider Ricardo Santana, Jr. on board.

Race 3 (1:10 p.m. ET/10:10 a.m. PT) — $175K G3 PEBBLES STAKES for 3YO fillies going a mile on the grass
Mr. Ed’s putting his money on #1 PARADISE CITY (4-1 morning line) for trainer Saffie Joseph, Jr., who retains top NY jockey Manny Franco. Coed should benefit from the rail post and the cutback in distance.
AQUEDUCT SELECTION: $10 to Win & Place. ($20)

Race 4 (1:40 p.m. ET/10:40 a.m. PT) — $90K ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING for 3YOs & Up going 1⅛-mile on the turf
I like #5 EXACT ESTIMATE (5-2 morning line) for savvy trainer Brad Cox, who excels with starters off a claim (37%). Son of excellent sire, Into Mischief, will be ridden by Ricardo Santana, Jr. My estimate points to a winner.
AQUEDUCT SELECTION: $10 to Win & $5 Daily Double of 5/1,7. ($20)

Race 5 (2:10 p.m. ET/11:10 a.m. PT) — $85K MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT for 2YOs going a mile
Mr. Ed likes the duo of #1 CREDIT HISTORY (3-1 morning line) for trainer Bill Mott and rider TBD, and #7 FELONIOUS (8-1) for HOF team of Todd Pletcher and Johnny Velazquez. Pair cooking the books.
AQUEDUCT SELECTION: $5 Exacta Box. ($10)

Race 6 (2:39 p.m. ET/11:39 a.m. PT) — $85K MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT for fillies and mares, 3YOs & Up going 1 1/16-mile on the grass
I like three: #1 BIG MAGIC (5-2 morning line) for smart trainer Tony Dutrow with Johnny Velazquez returning to ride; #3 MARKETPLACEOFIDEAS (4-1) and #4 ELLESMERE ISLAND (3-1), both for top trainer Chad Brown, with riders Ricardo Santana, Jr. and Manny Franco, respectively.
AQUEDUCT SELECTION: $5 Exacta Box. ($30)

Race 7 (3:09 p.m. ET/12:09 p.m. PT) — $150K FOREVER TOGETHER STAKES for fillies and mares, 3YOs & Up going 1 1/16-mile on the turf
I like British-bred #7 OVERSUBSCRIBED (6-5 morning line) for top trainer Chad Brown with Manny Franco up. Classy gal returns a winner.
AQUEDUCT SELECTION: $20 to Win. ($20)

Race 8 (3:39 p.m. ET/12:39 p.m. PT) — $90K ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING for fillies and mares, for 3YOs & Up going 6½ furlongs
It’s late DD time for Mr. Ed. In Leg 1, he likes #7 ALL CLASS (7-2 morning line) and #8 WITH THE ANGELS (6-5), both for excellent trainer Linda Rice with riders Kendrick Carmouche and Jose Lezcano, respectively. Dare you to beat this chalky pair!
AQUEDUCT SELECTION: $5 Daily Doubles of 7,8/3,6. ($20)

Race 9 (4:09 p.m. ET/1:09 p.m. PT) — $88K ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING for fillies and mares, 3YOs & Up going 1⅛-mile on the grass
To complete the DD: #3 SIYOUNI FLASH (7-2 morning line) for KY-based conditioner Kenny McPeek and NY assistant Jimmy Jerkens, and #6 CYNANE (4-1) for Brad Cox’s barn.

TOTAL WAGERS: $140

ON THE MEND: Two Big A jockeys are recovering from serious injuries suffered in riding mishaps this past week. Veteran NY circuit jockey Dylan Davis is in the hospital being treated for multiple injuries. No word on when he might return to competition. And, NY newcomer Sahin Civaci was also injured in a spill on Thursday. He is expected to return to racing in about a month. Here’s wishing both are on track to a speedy and complete recovery.
