Churchill Downs Predictions:

We are excited to announce a renewed partnership with the fine folks and handicappers at 1/ST BET. Jeremy Plonk will be sharing his expertise on a weekly basis to pass along some ponies that they like for races at various tracks around the country.
For this Thursday, November 27 article, Jeremy Plonk shares everything you need to know for the racing card for Churchill Downs.
Churchill Downs: Race 10 (3:45 pm ET) | $400,000 Falls City Stakes
Morning line favorite #10 Regaled comes off back-to-back career-best efforts and the Breeders’ Cup Distaff third-place finisher returns to Churchill Downs less than half the price she was when third in the Locust Grove. She’s pace-dependent and lacks value, as does fellow closer #2 Raging Sea. The more tactical approach of #4 Alpine Princess and #7 Royal Spa should be appreciated, along with the improving #8 Standoutsensation. Hard to argue with four wins and a second in her last 5 starts, making #8 Standoutsensation the value play for me at 8-1 morning line. I love how she got right back on the workout tab two weeks after her Aqueduct road victory, even despite travel.
Win bet #8. Exacta key-box 8 with 4,7.
Churchill Downs: Race 11 (4:14 pm ET) | $300,000 Cardinal Stakes
#11 Proctor Street always has looked like a graded-stakes sort and will get that chance off a Keeneland allowance win without any pace help. In fact, she’s had little to work with from off the pace throughout her career in terms of fast set-ups. The presence of fleet #5 Stylish Sue might help set the table for once. Regally bred #10 Fleetingly is another who could be set to deliver on her promise if she finally gets something to run at in terms of pace.
Win #11. Exacta 11-10. Trifecta 11-all-10.
