The son of We Miss Artie was forced to take the overland trip. He may have lost more ground than he was beaten by when unplaced (just three lengths behind the winner) in his most recent start. Still, if he can save some ground today and improve as expected for his new connections, he can secure his first victory of the year at what should be an attractive number on the tote.

Now in the Vladimir Cerin barn after a pair of promising runs in New York last summer when conditioned by Wesley Ward, the son of Uncle Mo has trained quite well in recent weeks to be fit and ready and is back sprinting at a distance that compliments his style. Top rider Juan Hernandez takes the call, so it all adds up to a major performance and a prime play at anything close to his morning line of 3-1.
